Adrienne was oblivious to what her father and Camilla were thinking. She was reading a book at home when her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and immediately answered it. Since her last visit to Jinxiu Garden, she hadn't been initiating any conversations with Lennox, either with phone calls or direct messages.

It wasn't because she didn't want to start another argument with her brother, but she felt like she was starting to get too deeply entangled with Lennox Qin. Adrienne wasn't oblivious to it, but she wasn't pleased with how comfortable she was whenever she was with him.

"Is there something that you need?" She asked, not bothering to greet him.

"Hello to you too, Addie," She heard Lennox's amused voice on the other end of the line. "You're still the same as always. If I don't agree to marry you, I doubt you'll be able to convince another man who would be willing."
