Adrienne was aware of everyone's concern toward her. She wasn't foolish to think that her Aunt Camilla would blindly follow their elders. That woman would surely come up with something new soon. As her father's second family left the estate, she decided to find Lennox's other sibling. It led her and Hunter to Jinling City.

They found themselves standing outside a daycare in the outskirts of the city one cold afternoon. They came as soon as Adrienne's classes had ended.

"What are we doing here, Miss Addie?" Hunter couldn't help but ask.

The days seemed to have passed by too fast these days and with the weather turning cold, most students were starting to prepare for the academy examinations. Yet, Adrienne had suddenly decided to go to the capital city and had no notion of doing what other students were doing. Even Valerie Xia reminded her not to be too complacent this time.
