Adrienne was startled. She couldn't understand what Hunter Nian was saying. Did her Uncle Reese talk to him before their meeting? But why would Hunter Nian say she'd found him as if he was expecting her? She couldn't fathom him at all. How could he possibly know who she was when they had never met before?

"What do you mean?" She asked, not breaking her gaze on the man before her.

"So you weren't looking for me because you found out who I was?" Hunter questioned her impassively.

Adrienne furrowed her brow in confusion. She felt like Hunter knew something about her despite having met her the first time. She and Hunter Nian previously had no connections besides the Ji family. Many of the wrongdoings of the Jiang family committed were covered by the Ji family. The Jiang family, the Han family, and the Ji family… these three had effectively ruined her life, if she didn't seek revenge on them, her rebirth would be worthless.
