For the past 4 days, I have been trying to capture Bastard Rave, but I have failed miserably every time to catch it. Next, he would send me his departing gift: poop on my head! Sigh!
At first, I used food as bait, which ended up being the greatest disappointment for me. He had never been touched or eaten. Perhaps worms were not to his taste.
The next time, I followed Dr.Heather's advice to use a seduction trick. According to her, male specimen couldn't resist female temptation. So it should have worked on any male specimen like magnetic attraction. I even lured a female cuckoo to seduce him; however, he wasn't interested in her even a little bit. Perhaps he was a she, although my conclusion had proven me wrong. As she wasn't drawn to male Rabe.
