Grendel's Grotto had five sub-levels, with most of the fifth floor being Grendel's old lair complete with swampy grounds and humid climate—the perfect bachelor's pad dream of every dragonoid who looked like Grendel. It also contained the heart of the grotto, the fissure in space-time that polluted the dungeon with its evil alien energies while also breathing in the natural energies of the Realm Ethereal. 

Yes, I was indeed talking about the same supernatural butt crack that Liara was dragged into—and I willingly jumped into—to reach the ass-end of nowhere, a lost realm called Peris. And no need to rehash what happened there. I've said all I was going to say about that cursed realm.
