Capítulo 6: Training difficulties and meeting Tenten (1/2)
<Timeskip – 1 month>
Naruto could be seen in the Naka River, collecting stones like an archaeologist in an ancient site. The area was filled with green, and the shore had a good amount of space. This was the place he found after tireless searching. It was a bonus that there weren't any prying eyes here.
At first, Naruto was ecstatic about learning jutsu. One of the main reasons for that was having a chakra control ability. But it didn't take long for him to realize it was just chakra control, not PERFECT chakra control.
When he met God, he asked for abilities that had the potential to be developed into something fearsome. Not some overpowered ones, as God clearly hinted that he would not grant them.
It wasn't all bad for him, though. After a month of training, he could easily control his output on big rocks. But when it comes to pebble-sized ones, they just disintegrate into a substance like ashes.
The problem with him was that there was too much chakra in him. Just counting Kurama, his chakra reserves are more than any Kage's. It's a bit debatable, considering Madara and Hashirama. But still, it was more than impressive for a mere 5-year-old boy.
<Naruto's Pov>
*Huff* *Huff* *Huff*
"It's hard as hell."
I threw the rock into the river. No, it's better to say I threw rock powder into the river.
These past few months have been tough for me. Initially, I couldn't even identify the resonance state of objects as they just got destroyed or turned into powder.
'How in the hell am I supposed to find it?'
That was my only thought on my first few tries. However, with the assistance of my chakra control, I finally caught on to the resonance state. That was just identifying it. I had a suspicion that it was due to my six-path chakra. Even with the help of chakra control, it was still hard to maintain it.
Then again, when I used the chakra I borrowed from Kurama, it was not that hard, and I could control it easily with much less effort. Does my chakra control only apply to the ninja world chakra and not the Ōtsutsuki chakra?
This only made me wonder how much of a monster Hagoromo was since he also had ten tails inside him.
Seeing that Kurama's chakra was easy to control, I decided to first practice with my buddy's chakra rather than my own. However, I was sure I could turn anyone's insides into a mess using the six-path chakra if I could get enough contact time. {No pun intended.}
Whether my body can handle the strain is another story altogether. Maybe Might Guy would be of help? With his mad *cough* eccentric training, I am pretty sure that I would be as sturdy as a rock in no time.
At first, I thought of learning taijutsu only from Kurama, among all the other things. But I changed my mind when I recalled how Might Guy fought head-to-head with six paths Madara and even injured him. I am sure that he would be a great teacher. At least, I hope so.

While Naruto was rambling to himself, a girl no more than 6 years old was sneaking around a bush near the river shore. She was a little taller than Naruto and had two Chinese-style buns on her head. Her outfit also screamed Chinese culture.
This didn't go unnoticed by Naruto when she came closer to him. Also, she really didn't do an excellent job of hiding. Seeing the iconic hair buns, he didn't need to guess who she was. That's right, she was Tenten.
He then waved at her while giving her a smile. Knowing that Naruto noticed her, she slowly emerged from her cover and waved back embarrassedly.
<Tenten Pov>
I'm Tenten, and I'm six years old now.
A year ago, while I was going to dinner with my parents, I saw a blonde-haired boy being scolded by someone for trying to look at the toys in his shop. I did that all the time and was never blamed for it. So I asked my parents why he was being yelled at. But they didn't tell me anything.
I saw him from time to time walking on the streets. He always had a sad smile. I wanted to ask what happened to him. But I didn't get too close to him because I feared someone would blame me too.
I noticed him again a month ago. At that time, he didn't have a sad face. I also spotted him going towards the river from time to time. So today, I decided to follow him because I was curious.
When I got to the river shore, I saw him collecting rocks. He was sweating all over, and I could see a pile of stones beside him. It was a pretty funny sight.
I was trying to get closer when I accidentally made a sound. I was sure he heard it.
Will he think of me as a stalker?
My mind was in a panic, thinking that he would get angry at me. He just waved at me while smiling. His hands were brown due to all the mud.
I also waved my hand a little while trying to cover my face by looking to the side.

Naruto laughed a little, seeing how Tenten was trying to cover her face, albeit unsuccessfully. He then washed his hands and slowly talked towards Tenten while rolling a beautiful stone pebble in one of his hands.
"Hello"
Naruto said while adjusting his messy clothes.
"H-Hello, I'm Tenten."
She was still embarrassed by the fact that she was caught. Naruto decided to act ignorant and asked,
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki. Nice to meet you, Tenten."
"Nice to meet you too, Naruto," she said, sighing in relief.
"By the way, what were you doing back there?"
" I-I was just....."
She was thrown into disarray by the question and couldn't think of an answer. Seeing this, Naruto stopped teasing her and gave her a way out.
"Oh, did you also come to watch the river?"
"Uh-huh, Yes… Yes…"
Tenten started nodding furiously.
"Wanna come and play?"
"Mmm…Okay"
{Although he has memories of 20 years, his brain is still that of a 5-year-old and is still developing. Therefore he would naturally be childish sometimes.}
After that, both of them walked towards the river. Naruto took the lead while Tenten followed him with a flushed face.
Naruto wanted to get to know the girl who would be the top weapon user in Konoha in the future. He found Tenten's fighting style, or rather, what would be her fighting style, pretty interesting. It's just that, to reach the top using that style, she needs extensive research on Bukijutsu and Fūinjutsu.
He was not against teaching her those techniques after asking Kurama, but not before she came to the point where he could fully trust her. But still, he decided to give her the idea to try out the Bukijutsu and Fūinjutsu a bit early, as she only discovered her talent for them pretty late in the timeline.

Then Naruto and Tenten got into talking while they were skipping rocks over the water's surface. Although Tenten was a bit shy initially, she became overly enthusiastic as time passed. She stopped skipping rocks only after she did more than Naruto.
He had a wry smile as she forced him to throw it properly because she saw that he was not trying his best.
*huff* *huff*
"I won. Yay"
Tenten cheered while she was wiping her sweat. Her chest could be seen going up and down repeatedly due to her exhaustion.
"Yeah, you sure did.", Naruto said while making a fake sad face, which she took satisfaction from.
"I'm going to wash my legs a bit. Are you coming?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah, I'm coming.", Tenten replied while jumping happily, like she'd won a lottery.
Seeing her antiques, he could only helplessly hold her hand as he went into shallow water.
