Capítulo 125: What the hell is going on?

Amidst her confusion, she heard metal clanking sounds coming from the bedroom, meaning that the mummy had stood back up again and was chasing after her. 

But with the main door locked, she was at a loss for where to go. Suddenly, her eyes fell on the sarcophagus standing in a corner, the coffin she came here to examine today. 

An idea struck her, she quickly rushed towards the sarcophagus, opened its lid and entered inside before closing it back. 

Lisa took a few deep breaths to stabilize her hurried breathing.

A few seconds later, she saw the mummy coming out of the bedroom, through a few small holes in the coffin's lid. Lisa hurriedly held her breath and clenched her teeth so as not to make a noise and reveal her hideout to the mummy.

Back at the police station, just after he came out of the interrogation room and sent a sketch artist to make a sketch of the boy Vlad had mentioned, Max got a call from Lisa.
