Miles had witnessed the power effect of that soundwave skill firsthand when he fought the vampire bat the previous night. 

It was undeniable that he suffered significant damage from that attack when the vampire bat unexpectedly used the skill to attack him. He also barely managed to escape the attack the second time.

Nonetheless, Miles realized that the vampire bat was unable to display the skill's full power because it was still an A rank beast and lacked the intelligence to use the skill effectively.

It would be a different story if that ability was controlled by a human and that person was going to be Darcy. 

However, Miles was still unsure about how he was supposed to teach such a skill to Darcy because he had never come across a psyker with such ability.

Infact, Miles was still processing a lot of facts about the Alpha vampire bat he killed the previous night which he considered unusual.
