Capítulo 154: Tainted Memories

"Yeah, it was funny how he was always trying to get you with the Saber Gambit," Azalea said, laughing heartily.

They had been reminiscing about the time they had spent with Amir over the past few hours.

They felt that now, they could finally — and properly — lay Amir's soul to rest.

So, when all was said and done, the two took a deep breath. And then, at the same time, they said…

"From the promised land we come, to the promised land we go… Be free, our friend. Be free, amazing Amir."

They both sighed as they felt the heavy burden on their hearts grow lighter. The silence, for the first time since Amir's untimely death… felt lighter now. However, as the silence droned on, things began growing tense. 

How long would it take Sharyl to rest?

How long would they be stuck here?

How much longer would they have until the storm above struck down with lightning?

That last question was the source of most of the tension.
