Staring at the one place he had sworn never to visit, Dav hid in the shadows, preciously calculating how he was going to pass those gates without Xander's boys' notice. How would that be possible? 

He knew Xander, he was probably waiting for Dav's return and the moment he made any move on his property, he would be caught in an instant. 

With a face that portrayed no emotion, Dav shoved his hands into his pocket and began to stroll over to the gate. There was no need of hiding, they had his princess, and all he needed to do was to go in there and take her out. 

When the guards saw the mighty prince before them, they made no hesitation to open the gates, and neither did any of them bother to stop him. Of course, they knew who he was. There was not a worker of Xander who didn't know the scarred vampire prince, Eliza's husband.
