Capítulo 37: Chapter 37 - Combat Plan
Adrian observed as his puppets quickly set to work, following his command to station two archers in each watchtower at all times. He had appointed ten puppets to each watchtower, ensuring that they would be constantly manned and able to spot any potential danger.
As the puppets worked, Adrian could see the structure of the watchtowers taking shape before his very eyes. He watched with pride as the wooden beams and planks were expertly crafted and assembled together, forming a sturdy and reliable structure.
Once the first watchtower was completed, Adrian climbed up the stairs to take a look at the view from the top. From there, he could see the entire expanse of his land, as well as the surrounding forests and hills.
Satisfied with the progress, Adrian commanded his puppets to build four more watchtowers, each stationed in a strategic location around his land. He knew that having multiple watchtowers would increase his chances of detecting any threats, and he wanted to ensure the safety of his people and his land.
As the puppets continued their work, Adrian couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. He had built a thriving community in a short amount of time, and he was determined to protect it at all costs.
Adrian called for Alpha, the leader of his pack of wood wolves, and two of his most trusted wolves to his side. He asked them to give a report on the location of the Knife Hand Barbarian Outpost. The wolves, who were trained to understand and respond to Adrian's commands, immediately began to relay the information they had gathered.
Alpha started, "My lord, we have scouted the area around the Knife Hand outpost. It is located to the northeast of our current position, in a clearing surrounded by dense forest. The outpost is heavily guarded, with at least 50 barbarians stationed inside. There are also several watchtowers and guard posts around the perimeter."
The other two wolves chimed in with additional details, describing the terrain, the types of weapons they saw, and the possible strengths and weaknesses of the barbarian defenses.
Adrian listened intently, his mind already racing with plans and strategies. He knew that taking on a well-fortified outpost like this would be a risky endeavor, but he was determined to expand his influence and power. He thanked his loyal wolves for their hard work and sent them back into the forest, confident that they would continue to keep watch and gather information.
"It shouldn't be too hard to take over."
Adrian thought in his mind and then asked Alpha.
"Alpha, do you think that you and twenty-nine other wood wolves, as well as fifty human puppets armed with bows and spears, can take out the land with no problem?"
Alpha, the Wolf Leader, answered.
"Of course, my lord, it would be easy. Me and my wolves would take over the ones on the land, and our human puppet friends should be able to take over others with ease."
