Lucas sat in the living room with Mr. and Mrs. Feng. They thanked him for the drinks, sandwiches and steamed meat buns. The air inside the living room was not as dusty as before.
"We're indeed hungry," Mr. Feng laughed after swallowing a few bites of the bun, "We came straight from the Xin Group. The meeting was brought forward. My wife accompanied me there."
"An urgent meeting?"
Mr. Feng's words reminded Lucas that the former's confectionery business was trying to get an investment from the Xin Group. As for the details, Lucas was not aware of them.
Mrs. Feng nodded. She continued where her husband left off, "Do you remember the young master of the Xin family from the banquet? My husband was supposed to meet him over golf this weekend but, he said he needed to go to the south."
Lucas blinked. He quietly took a sip of his drink while darting his eyes to the wall nearby.
