Liliana didn't immediately reply to Nadia's concerns. She took her time to think before giving her friend a perspective of her view.
While they were sitting in a slightly obscured corner, most of the tables inside the cafe were occupied by patrons. Their indistinct chatter blended harmoniously with the soothing piano melody played by the speakers.
Edith and Harris were busy delivering the food and drinks to the tables, assisted by Nancy if she was not needed at the cash register counter. Ruby was making drinks in a quick and efficient way.
Despite the lunch hour rush, everything was handled smoothly by the staff. This was not yet the busiest they had faced.
"Nadia, won't you ever try?"
