"How about Philip Emerson? Have you taken care of him now?" Anna asked her brother.
"To some extent, yes." Simon replied
"What do you mean by that? Is he dead?" She asked again.
"I'm not a serial killer sister. I don't kill for fun. Philip Emerson is barely okay. He can't even remember his own name. Something to do with trauma and fear. If he ever poses as a threat, I will take care of him myself. For now, let's leave him be. He's the only survivor in his family. I can't wipe out a whole linage because that's what killing him means." He explained.
"His family were among the killers of your father." Anna reminded him.
"Like I care. Do you care?" He asked her. "For all I know he got what he deserved."
"I agree with you that he deserved to die. But not by the Emerson's and co. Besides we all know that his flaws didn't affect his business. He was an honest business man. If he were to be killed, it should have been by us and not some outsider that just wanted him out of the way so that they can reap where they did not sew." She told her brother who nodded in agreement. "You didn't avenge his death." She further stressed.
"Na, I honestly didn't see a reason to. I don't even care that he died. One way or the other, I would have killed him myself if he was still alive when I returned from England." He responded.
"Well, they saw our lack of revenge as a sign of weakness and that was why they snatched Theodore from us." She said in a hush querky voice.
"Hey, hey, hey, stop! This is you trying to blame me for Theodore's death. Do not do that. We are all responsible for that. We all played a role one way or the other.
"Si, you should consider finishing what you started in order to avoid a repetition. As far as I'm concerned, Philip Emerson is dangerous, so is DaSilver, Ausborn and every other person that had a hand in Theodore's death." She told him.
"You already know that I'm gunning for DaSilver and he'll be down soon. So will the rest except Philip Emerson. He will live. I am not a slayer of harmless and defenceless men. He's just twenty four. He has the right to live. Everyone have a right to life." Simon told her.
"You actually said same for the older siblings. Yet, you look what they did? They killed our baby brother." She complained bitterly pacing the room.
"Sister," Simon called her and looked up at him. "Life is not just about killing or getting killed. There is more to life. I am not touching Philip Emerson unless I have a reason to do so and you'd better not touch him behind my back, I will personally deal with you if you try." He warned her.
"Okay," Anna replied with raised hands. I won't overstep my boundaries. But you'd better be sure you're taking the right decision."
Simon turned and started walking towards the entrance to Anna's room. "Bye sister, I'll see you later." He said and twisted the door knob.
"Paige is my friend Si," Anna started stopping her brother from leaving. He turned to listen to her. "I hardly ever have friends these days. Don't hurt her. She's not thick skinned like us, or maybe she is. But you don't have to hurt her."
"Na, I have an important meeting to catch up with." He told her impatiently.
"A meeting or a sex trip brother? You shouldn't lie to me too. I'm your attorney. So we both know that you're rushing to meet up with your escort." She said starring at him.
Simon smiled gently. "You my sister should leave my house soon. I'll repeat it for your hearing sake. You are not welcome here."
"Bye to you too brother and don't forget to apologize to my friend. You owe her one." She said just before Simon shut the door.
Simon was dressed in a white tee and brown leather short. One of his latest collection from 'Saden Men' a designer brand that sends him a sample of most of their new collections before it hits the market. with Simon being a fashionable man, they believe that he was the best person to give their brand the exposure they need.
He stepped into the porch. The afternoon sun felt warm with a mix of the chilly wind causing one to feel warmth and chilly at the same time. It was an awesome feeling though. Today was definitely the best time to visit the garden. He thought to himself. At the garden, the sun will be very high and of course it will be mixed with the wind and beautiful fragrances from the planted flowers. That would have been a true feeling of nature's blessings.
Simon stood at the porch and viewed his surroundings starting from his cars which were all sparkling neat and ready to hit the road. The Gardener as usual was still bringing his A game. A look at the garden behind the house yesterday made him jump into such conclusion. Moreso, the scanty flowers in this side of the compound were also neatly trimmed. The butler too was doing a great job in ensuring the neatness of the whole house. He couldn't remember ever feeling a spark of dust in the house before.
This was the best part about his employees. They always keep to their job descriptions and they carry them out to the fullest. Paige was indeed his only employee that decided to be a pain. The worst of it was the fact that Emily has already taken a liking to her.
"Nicon!" He called the chauffeur that was usually appointed to any of their guests. Nicon was the son of their former gardener who died in an autocrash. He employed Nicon a year ago. His job as a chauffeur for guests alone allowed him time to go to school during the week and work at the Kentleys mansion at weekends. He was one of the most paid employees. This is because his tuition fee and everything he needs in school is being provided by Simon. And he was still paid his full salary at the end of each month. His mother and Sister were also being taken care of by Simon who placed them on allowances.
"Sir." Nicon answered and came closer to his boss.
"Our guest might be going out today. I want to know where she's going to and with whom. If possible, I want to also know what they'll be doing." He instructed.
"Should I follow them around sir." Nicon asked.
"You have a brain don't you?" Simon asked him.
"I do sir." Came Nicon's reply.
"Great, use it and stop acting stupid. Find out if they are falling in love or whatever crazy words you lot use these days. I also would love a picture of her outfit today since I won't be home to see it myself." Simon said but immediately changed his mind once he remembered that there was CCTV in the house. He'll definitely see her outfit. "You know what? Nevermind about the picture. I don't think I need it. Just keep an eye on every other thing I told you about. I'll be off now." He said.
"Alright sir." Nicon replied. Simon called his guards and had them prepare the car. Few minutes later, they left for his Lakeview apartment.

Paige turned around in front of the mirror taking in her gorgeous figure. She wanted to appear as simple as she could. Besides, it was just a lunch with someone she met just yesterday.
She wore a Silk black knee length gown in order to show off her gorgeous legs. She also paired it with a pair of flat black sandal showing off her red polished toes and a red long strap purse. She applied a dash of red lipstick to accentuate her looks. Finally her lush long hair were tied back making use of few strands of her hair from each side. Her hair flowed down her back.
Since coming to the Kentleys mansion, she had suddenly started paying more attention to her appearance and her skin. In all honesty, Paige was perfect. She was gorgeous enough to give most beauty pageant organisers a run for their money. A call came in from Frankie and she picked up.
"Hello." Her soft, soothing voice said into the phone.
"Hello Princessa, I'm at the venue already. I can't wait to meet you." Frankie told her.
"Oh, so soon. I'm all set though. I'll be leaving home now. I'll see you soon. Bye.
"Bye gorgeous." He replied and hung up. Paige smiled inwardly. He actually called her gorgeous. He sure has his way with words. She pressed the button beside her bed used for summoning the maids. Samira came in almost immediately.
"Inform Sherman that I'm all set and I'll be leaving for Crescent fall. Tell him to get the car and chauffeur ready." She told Samira who bowed and left to deliver the message.
