Capítulo 57: Chapter 57 - Banquet (3)

  It was soon the day to begin the second stage of the Contest. Esme had recovered from her injuries but to avoid attending the banquet she pretended like she wasn't healed yet and it worked until a maid came to summon her that she was being called in the Banquet.

 "But I am not feeling good" Esme protested.

"The Prince asked you to be brought out. The maid explained.

"But why? Esme asked.

"I don't know why, but the prince said that the rest of the Contest is quite easy and you don't have to do anything strenuous.

"Walking to the banquet is strenuous" Esme Lamented.

 "That's why the prince has sent you a carriage. The maid said with her head bowed. Afraid of offending this lady whom the prince was showing so much care to.

 "What?! Esme and Rosy exclaimed in unison.

"Did you say the prince sent a royal carriage for me? Esme asked again to be sure she wasn't hearing things.

"Yes, Miss Esme" The Maid repeated.
