Capítulo 19: Almost There

Prete’s POV

“Serious Guy!” We averted our eyes to Ivan and John as they suddenly appeared. The man in front of me hurriedly run.

“Prete, are you okay?” Ivan asked me.

“Y-Yes.” I barely answered, still feeling my body shaking.

“John, take care of her.” Ivan said then run after Serious Guy.

John guided me to stand.

“Can you walk?” He asked.

“I think so.” I answered.

He guided me until we reach outside. Lots of police officers are already there.

Mc Ivan’s POV

I run as fast as I could to catch Serious Guy.

But he was so fast, and I ended up losing him.

Again.

“Shit!” I’m so pissed off.

I was catching my breath while I decide to go back to my team.

I almost lost a team because of my incompetence.

I was determined to find and catch him but it’s seemed not enough.

“Did you catch him?” John asked.

The back-ups are already here and they are all looking for evidences inside and out the bar.

“I lost him.” I spoke.
