"Is the Lord not coming with us?" Mei asked quietly as she carried a small bag filled with her favorite books with her. 

Lou paused in her packing to look at the lady. The two girls had added weight since they left with Shi Zian. Their cheeks were plump and their black hair was tied into a ponytail with blue ribbons. They look like two daughters of a noble family. 

Shen Jiyu did not reply. 

He was wondering whether he had gone too much yesterday that Shi Zian had not even returned home. Shi Zian was really thin-skinned and joking like that might make him feel like he did not care about his feelings. He felt a little guilty.

"My Lady. Maybe we should wait a little for him before we leave." Lou asked, she still could not believe that she was leaving this place. Her heart pounded in both anticipation and excitement.
