Capítulo 40: Chapter 40: War Games start

The Rune Wardens Companies had set up their defenses within the base, some preparing to defend the VIP while others were getting ready to advance towards the enemy base. The air was tense with anticipation as the sun began to set in the distance, casting a warm glow over the valley.

Gorgoth, the Swift Company Leader, had taken charge of the advance team, using his knowledge of the land to lead his warriors through the wooded valley. His company was made up of some of the fastest and most agile warriors in the battalion, allowing them to move through the forest with ease.

Vaxor, the Clever Company Leader, had taken charge of the defense team, using his tactical mind to plan out the best strategy to protect their VIP. His company was made up of the most skilled archers and mages, able to rain down arrows and spells on any enemy that came near.

Kethrax, the Radiant Company Leader, had split his team between the defense and the advance, providing support to both teams with his healing and protection spells. His company was made up of the most noble and selfless warriors, always ready to put themselves in harm's way for the good of the battalion.

Azulor, the Mighty Company Leader, had taken charge of the heavy assault team, using his brute strength to push through any enemy lines that stood in their way. His company was made up of the largest and most muscular warriors, able to wield massive weapons with ease.

Xarath, the Shadow Company Leader, had taken charge of the stealth team, using his knowledge of the shadows to lead his warriors through the darkest areas of the valley. His company was made up of the most silent and deadly assassins, able to take out enemies without being detected.

As the Rune Wardens Companies began to advance towards the enemy base, the tension in the air grew thicker. Each warrior was focused on the task at hand, ready to do whatever it took to capture the enemy VIP and bring victory to their battalion.

The Eternal Wardens Companies were in full swing, preparing for the upcoming war games. Blazeheart, the commander of the Hellfire Mages, was busy consulting with his team on the best spells to use during the battle. Darkshot, the leader of the Black Arrows, was sharpening her arrows and checking her bowstrings. Skyheart, the charismatic commander of the Stormweavers, was strategizing with his team, discussing how they could use the weather to their advantage. Shadeclaw, the leader of the Shadowstalkers, was using her wings to scout the area, looking for any signs of the enemy's movements.

Meanwhile, Rimefang, the commander of the Frost Riders, had taken it upon himself to oversee the defense of their VIP, Sam. He had stationed his riders around the base, with their spears at the ready. He also had a few of his riders patrolling the area, keeping an eye out for any enemy movements.

As the sun began to set, Zarek, the Battalion Commander, gave the order to advance. The Eternal Wardens moved in a single file line, quietly and swiftly, through the dense forest, keeping a watchful eye out for any signs of the enemy.

They reached the edge of the clearing, where the enemy base was located, and Zarek gave the signal to stop. He consulted with his company leaders, discussing the best course of action. They decided to split into two groups, with Shadeclaw and Darkshot leading a group to attack the enemy from the flank, while Blazeheart and Skyheart would lead a frontal assault.

With the plan in place, the Eternal Wardens charged forward, their weapons at the ready. The battle had begun.

The sound of clashing weapons echoed through the valley as Gorgoth and his Swift company charged forward towards the opposing base, their eyes scanning for any signs of the enemy. As they made their way through the dense trees, they suddenly heard the sound of rushing wind coming towards them.

It was Skyheart and the Stormweavers. They descended upon them with a fierce assault, the Stormweavers unleashing bolts of lightning and gusts of wind at the Swift Company. Gorgoth and his warriors quickly formed a shield wall to defend against the attacks.

But the Stormweavers were cunning, and they began to flank the Swift Company from both sides. It was then that Shadeclaw and the Shadowstalkers sent word to Zarek that they were going to assist Skyheart and engage the enemy.

As they arrived, Xarath and Shadow Company appeared from the trees, their stealth allowing them to sneak up on the Stormweavers and launch a surprise attack. The battle intensified as the two sides clashed with swords, spears, and magic.

Skyheart, being a skilled diplomat, began to weave his magic and charm, attempting to convince the Rune Wardens to abandon their mission and join the Eternal Wardens. But Xarath was not swayed and rallied his troops to fight back against the Stormweavers.

Shadeclaw and her Shadowstalkers used their agility to dodge incoming attacks and launched counter-attacks with their wrist-mounted crossbows. Meanwhile, Gorgoth and his Swift Company continued to hold the line, their shields absorbing the brunt of the enemy's attacks.

The battle raged on for what felt like hours, the sounds of magic and weapons filling the air. But in the end, the Rune Wardens emerged victorious. They had managed to repel the Stormweavers and Shadowstalkers, their determination and skill proving too much for the Eternal Wardens to overcome.

As they retreated back to their base, Gorgoth and Xarath exchanged nods of respect. They knew that the war games were far from over and that there would be many more battles to come. But for now, they could take pride in their hard-fought victory.

As the moon rose high in the sky, the war games continued through the night. In the Eternal Wardens' base, Darkshot and the Black Arrows were on guard duty, keeping a watchful eye on the perimeter. Suddenly, they heard the sounds of footsteps and rustling in the bushes. Darkshot signaled to Blazeheart and the Hellfire Mages, who quickly took up positions alongside her.

The bushes rustled again, and out stepped a group of soldiers from Vaxor and Clever Company. They were armed with swords and crossbows, and they had a look of determination in their eyes. Darkshot signaled to Blazeheart, and the two of them readied their bows.

The soldiers charged forward, but Darkshot and Blazeheart were ready for them. Darkshot' s arrows whizzed through the air, striking their targets with deadly accuracy. Blazeheart summoned a wall of flame, forcing the soldiers to retreat.

Just then, Azulor and Mighty Company's troops emerged from the darkness, their eyes glinting with malice. They charged forward, swords drawn. Darkshot and Blazeheart stood their ground, determined not to let them breach the base.

Blazeheart conjured up a massive fireball, hurling it at the approaching soldiers. They scattered, trying to dodge the flames, but Blazeheart' s spell was too powerful. Several of them were caught in the inferno, their screams piercing the night.

Meanwhile, Darkshot' s arrows flew through the air, taking out soldier after soldier. The Black Arrows were renowned for their marksmanship, and tonight was no exception. The soldiers fell back, their morale shattered.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, Vaxor and Clever Company and Azulor and Mighty Company retreated, defeated. Darkshot and Blazeheart high-fived each other, congratulating themselves on a job well done.

As they settled back into their positions, Darkshot couldn't help but smile. The Eternal Wardens' base was safe, thanks to the quick thinking and skilled archery of herself and Blazeheart.

The night sky was dark and still, with only the occasional rustle of leaves and the sound of distant battles breaking the silence. At the Rune Wardens base, Kethrax and the Radiant Company stood on guard, their weapons at the ready as they scanned the darkness for any signs of movement. Suddenly, a loud crack echoed through the air as Rimefang and the Frost Riders burst through the trees, their mounts charging toward the base with deadly intent.

Kethrax and his company quickly sprang into action, their magic and weapons ready to defend their base. But the Frost Riders were not to be underestimated, their icy weapons and mounts causing chaos and confusion among the Rune Wardens.

As the battle raged on, Rimefang made his way to the side of the base and stabbed his weapon into the wall, causing it to freeze over and shatter, creating a hole in the side of the base. Mighty Company, who had been waiting behind the wall to repel the Frost Riders, quickly moved to defend the hole, but it was clear that the Rune Wardens would have to shift their focus to defense.

Kethrax and his company fought bravely, using their radiant magic to drive back the Frost Riders, but they knew they were up against a formidable opponent. The night was long and grueling, with the sound of battle echoing through the valley until the sun finally rose, signaling the end of the first day of the war games.
