The two old men made their way to the place which the passerby mentioned. There were no discussions between them, their minds baffled by the news they just heard.
'Havien, I knew that lad was incredible, but till what extent? Can I even fathom what he is capable of?' Zhuang Xiao was in deep thought, he knew that Havien was a special existence, but he was clueless as to exactly what made him so special. Was it just talents, abilities, luck, or something more?

Audatic Hello. I have a lot to say, but if you don't mind, please read.
This chapter upload must've been a surprise since this novel has been dead for almost a year now. Before making any excuses, I first want to apologize. You have supported me endlessly throughout my whole novel, yet I failed to live up to your expectations time and time again. I promised regular updates, but didn't deliver. I promised a good story, but I created a hot mess. You guys pay good money to read my amateur work, yet I took long breaks out of nowhere. I built a sizeable audience, yet failed to keep them satisfied.
Truth is, I went into this novel with pure passion and no plan. I wanted to write a masterpiece, an untold story unlike any there is. This messy work, which I expected nobody to read in the first place, somehow got an amazing and lovely audience. Eventually, my passion got burned out because of real-life issues and my health. I started to hate my own work and found writing a chore that I hated, instead of the love it once had. Once I started hating the filler-type chapters that I kept writing, I decided to quit for a while and pursue with a fresh mind. It felt like a much better option than to taint my own work and waste my fans' money.
That was the backstory behind the start of my new series, "Black String of Fate". I decided to write this novel as a change of pace and improve as a writer before touching this book. It is a book extremely different from CrimsonWhite, focusing more on characters and stable worldbuilding, all the while having a more solid plot. Now, with about 40 chapters of Black String of Fate completed, I finally dared to touch this book I had become afraid to write.
I won't lie this time and say I'll offer stable updates, but I won't abandon it now. I once made a promise to my readers and myself to finish this book, and that's what I'm about to do.
