Capítulo 52: Chapter 52: Let Your Plans be Dark and Impenetrable as Night

I spend the next two days in West Gulch, with Maggie. She does an amazing job as my liaison to the humans of the outlying towns. Maybe her job isn’t as hard as I’d feared it would be. The towns around Springwater have been terrorized for decades. Everyone has lost people to the Bloodfangs. It’s not hard to convince them to fight back.

There’s some uneasiness, between the Ironfurs and the humans. Just like Carl, the humans here have only known wolves as predators, but Maggie is able to navigate the situation beautifully, though, and get everyone on board with my plan.

Come the day of the raid, I venture back into Springwater. I clutch a bag in my mouth, which contains a set of clothes, and a very, very special gift from the Ironfurs. It’s a dangerous gift, and I have to be careful as I carry it.
