Capítulo 4: First Fight!
It has been two weeks since I have stayed on the island. Now I can use heat vision. Staying under the sun, and working out daily I have increased my power. In the meantime, I have come across various beasts and hunted them regularly. I am not a muscle brain though, I have gathered various info about flora and fauna. This Island doesn't have many beasts that threaten my life, but there are two beast overlords in terms of strength. A black panther and a python, I plan to fight them and kill them to test my strength soon.
Currently, my source of food includes boars, deer, fish from the stream, and fruits my fellow monkey brothers share with me.
Indeed I have become close to the monkeys, I shared roasted meat with them and they loved it.
Now they come frequently and observe my One Punch Man workout.
100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 air squats, and a 10-km run.
But I do this thrice a day, My strength keeps increasing exponentially after absorbing energy from the sun daily. And at the end of the day, I pray to Gods that I don't become bald like the OG Saitama Sensei.
I always keep the sword with me, even though I know jack sh*t about swordsmanship. I will learn it later, Can I train with Mihawk or Silver Reighleigh?
I can't wait.
I have seen very few ships passing by from afar and even lighted fires but none of them saw me I guess?
If I could fly, it would have been easier.

Watching the status I felt satisfied. I have learned one thing in the past weeks, I only have a status screen like gamers, not a system that gives tasks and rewards. Fine by me, I never really liked those novels where MC is controlled by tasks by System.
As if there is no true freedom, I like mine way better. Well honestly with my three perks, I doubt I need any additional benefits. I have also read that some system also gives death as a penalty, like bruh It's my life, not your slave.
So I continued my training in full swing, I did upgrade my shelter with time, and I am already feeling bored on this island.
After my stats hit 100 I decided it was time for my first real battle. I have enough energy to blast a few heat vision in case I have to run away which I doubt will happen now. After my stats hit 100 I felt like a barrier has been broken and I felt a surge of power.
Early morning on my 15th day on this island I headed towards the python. You ask why?
Python is larger with lesser agility, I can use that to my advantage. Also, it is a lone creature and does not move in groups. Perfect.
I have already scouted the island from the hilltop and I learned that this python has its own hunting zone, It hunts boars, deer, and monkeys. This is also the reason I have to kill it.
Stealthily I approached the area, and I could sense that the python was nearby, in the forest. And as I approached I saw its massive size, according to Earth standards of course, In this world, this is not worth mentioning in front of sea kings.
It was basking in the sun after a meal, I have to strike its neck, that's the weak point of snakes. Silently I took out my sword and using my full Agility and Strength I rushed towards the coiled Python and struck.
"Hisssssssssss"
It sprung up and started withering in pain. The cut was deep but not enough, I have to strike again.
The python also knew it had to strike fast and so it did, It tried to coil and bite neo but as it came closer to Neo's face it saw Neo's eyes turning red and the heat vision hit his open mouth and blasted its head.
Phewww! Neo was no fighter, his heart was beating fast, not due to fear but due to excitement.
"I need to get used to spilling blood, It is not Modern Earth but a world full of pirates, marines, celestial dragons and the World Govt. If you show weakness you will be devoured by the other party"
I am coming Panther, then I'm gonna try to get out of this island.
During his stay, he has observed the flora and fauna of this little island, nothing extraordinary but still foreign to someone from Earth. He has decided to make a journal when he leaves this place.
