Capítulo 41: Second Term: Repulse and Attract

July's POV:

I was kinda glad it was time for music class again. Right now I had a serious need to wind down a bit and nothing better for that than making music.

I know I told Tammy I trusted her. And technically that was true. However, I also wasn't blind. Zach did look good. He had a smile that made most girls from his homeroom fawn over him. And his relaxed attitude and instinct to speak his mind even with teachers made for this ridiculous bad-boy image, that a lot of girls like.

This wasn't about me trusting him or Tammy. I simply didn't trust my relationship in general. We weren't together for all that long. And knowing that surely didn't help my naturally low self-esteem. There was just no way I could think of myself as someone worth keeping around. I did my best to be the perfect girlfriend, but I wasn't one. I didn't even know how I deserved to be Tammy's girlfriend in the first place.
