Capítulo 15: Ch - 14 Meeting Radha Maa and After party
Karna and Raghav both entered a small house. It was Karna's home.
Karna - "Maa, look who is here."
Radha came from the kitchen and looked at the new person Karna brought with him. She looked at Karna so he can introduce him.
Karna - "Maa, this is Raghav. He is my Gurubhrata!"
Raghav - "Pranipat Mata."
Radha - "Sada sukhi Raho." (Always stay happy.)
Radha became happy to hear this. When karna came home earlier, he told her about a person he considers as his younger brother.
Radha - "Son, I am so happy to meet you. Karna calls you his younger brother, so you can call me Maa or Mata (Mother)."
Raghav - "Yes Maa."
Karna - "Maa, I am very hungry."
Radha - "Sure Son, I have made alot of food today, eat till you are full. Raghav, you too come eat with us."
And so they ate the food and Karna told her about him being the new Angaraj (King of Anga). Radha was very happy seeing her son became a king. Soon Adhirath also came home. He was early today as his work was done. He met Raghav and blessed him. He also got to know that his son was now a king. He was happy.
Adhirath - " Son, always treat everyone equally. Now that you are a king, you will have alot of work to do. Also, never become like those greedy kings."
And so they had a fun time together as the family talked alot. Most of the chat was about thier days under Lord Parshuram.
In the evening~
Both Raghav and Karna left for the palace as they were invited by Duryodhan. They too wanted to see how the party will be.
When then reached the entrance, they saw Duryodhan and Shakuni waiting for them. They greeted each other happily. Duryodhan was having a good time while Shakuni was planning something that can make Raghav and Karna give thier support to Duryodhan on becoming the Yuvraj (Crowned Prince).
They both entered the hall and eyes of everyone present were on Raghav and Karna as they were looking like deities.
Karna was wearing a red dhoti with golden edges and a red angavastra there were no perticular jewelries as he didn't liked them.
Raghav was wearing a blue dhoti with silver edges and a blue angavastra. He too was not wearing any jewelries but instead, he was wearing Rudraksha* on both of his hand and neck.
The duo looked so divine that no one was able to get thier eyes off of them. Several females were staring at them with thier mount open while male were staring at them jealousy. Some thought that both of them were prince of some powerful kingdom while some recognised them from what happened in the Kalapradarshan in morning.
Raghav excused himself from Duryodhan Karna and Shakuni and started to wander around. He was basically looking for the place that had food. Call it habit or something else, it is what he did from his childhood. Whenever he went to a party or a wedding, his only goal was to eat food, as much as he could.
Pandavas and thier mother found Raghav there and they were surprised. They too wanted to invite him but when thier mother fell unconscious, they forgot everything. They walked towards the confused man looking for something.
Yudhishthir - "Friend, are you looking for something?"
Raghav (without looking at them) - "Yes, I am hungry."
The Pandavas and Kunti laughed hearing his answer.
Nakul (mischievous) - " Looks like elder brother Bheem got a partner. Brother Bheem was also looking for food."
Bheem - "Nakul."
Raghav realised that who they were and so he joined his hands and greeted them.
Raghav - "Pranipat Mitron(Friends), Rajmata (Queen mother)."
Pandavas - "Pranipat."
Kunti - " Kalyan ho Putra."
Raghav - "Are you alright, Rajmata?"
Kunti - "Yes son, I am. The doctor said that it was because of weakness. I'll be good soon. Also, please call me kaki(auntie)."
Raghav - "Looks like the secret cannot be hidden."
Kunti heart skipped a beat when he heard raghav.
Kunti (though) - 'He....knows?"
Yudhishthir - "What secret friend?"
Raghav - "That kaki forgot to eat when she got to know you are coming back. She was so busy in the preparation that she forgot to eat."
Everyone let out a chuckle but Raghav was trying to think of a way for Kunti to accept her eldest, karna.
Arjun - "By the way, I wanted to invite you but I couldn't. But I want to ask, who invited you?"
Raghav - " Prince Duryodhan did."
They were a bit shocked to hear this. It was very well known that they don't get well together.
Bheem - " Friend, don't hang out with him. He is evil. A bad omen."
When Bheem said that Raghav raised an eye. While on the other hand Duryodhan, karnawere standing behind them. Drithrastra and Gandhari, the current King and queen, father and mother of Duryodhan and his 100 brothers were also standing them. Though Drithrastra was born blind and Gandhari had covered her eyes with a cloth,accompanying her husband, they both could hear well. They also hand thier servents to tell them what is happening. All were waiting to hear what answer would Raghav give. Especially Duryodhan who considered Raghav as a friend.
Raghav - "Don't say that friend Bheem. He is not a bad omen but instead, he was born from a boon just like you five. So don't believe useless theories that people give"
This shocked everyone. They never expected such an answer. Duryodhan was very happy that his friend considers him as a boon not as a bad omen. Before he could say anything, Mahamantri (Prime minister) Vidhur came near Raghav. He was a little angry as Duryodhan being a bad omen was his theory. He was one of the most intelligent people living, how can he be wrong?
Vidhur - "Can you elaborate what you said."
Raghav - "Pranipat Mahamantri."
Vidhur - " Kalyan ho."
Raghav - "Why do you consider friend Duryodhan as a bad omen."
Vidhur - "Because he when he was born, althe sky turned dark, Thundervolts flashed and wolves howled throughout Hastinapur."
Raghav - "If you are that intelligent, then you should realise that my friend was born from the boon of Mahadev."
Vidhur (irritated) - "Everyone knows that. Tell me something knew. Why do you not believe me?"
Raghav - "The answer is very simple if you think about it. Mahadev though the strongest and kindest of all, he is surrounded by ghosts, pishach(Vampires ig) etc. He is prayed by Aghories*. All the creatures pray him. Specially dark creatures love him alot. So the sky turning black and wolves howling is just thier way of inviting the boon of Mahadev on earth."
Everyone was again shocked. Drithrastra Gandhari were on the verge of crying knowing thier Son got such a good friend. Karna felt proud of his younger brother and Duryodhan was already crying. He quickly came infront of Raghav and hugged him.
Duryodhan - "I must've done alot of good deed that I got friends like you(Raghav) and Karna."
Raghav just smiled and hugged him back. Few seconds later Raghav realised something as his stomach growled. The emotional moment broke because of
Raghav - "Oh, I totally forgot! I was looking for food."
Everyone laughed seeing the once serious man acting childish.
Duryodhan - "Let's go friend, there are several things you can eat, especially Laddoo."
Bheem - "Laddoo!"
Bheem got excited hearing the name of his favorite food.
Raghav - "Bheem, let's go or else all of it may be finished. Duryodhan, you too, come with us."
[ Athena - As I already said, Muscle heads are simple minded. Give them food, they love you. Taunt them, they kill you.]
[ Wukong - Damn, you really know this. How is that God of war doing?]
[ Athena - What do you expect? He is in the war.]
Both nodded hesitantly. Though they didn't liked each other much, they were good friends with Raghav so they agreed. In actuality, it was Raghav who was trying to amend the relations between the brothers.
