Milas was a relatively wealthy and known ancient town in the region that is now southwestern Turkey. According to the wiki, it has 27 archaeological sites, which is very impressive. At first, I was going to make the foremost city of the Knights of Lazarus or the Knights Hospitaller -as their real life counterpart-, outside their islands, the famous Castle of St. Peter which stood against the Ottomans even longer than the Rhodes and was transferred as a result of a peace treaty and wasn't taken by force, which makes it impressive for the time.
