uuuggghhhh, weeks of searching had turned up nothing, I looked at my points saved, six hundred and some change, only about one hundred after maintenance that was due next week, not enough. I knew from the multitude of corpses turning up in military-grade gear that Hydra was after 053 but probably had yet to successfully capture her, as there was still always a body without external injury, which only happened when the victim was the last one standing and had attempted inflicting harm on the little girl herself.
I was staring into the camera screens in the observation room, a place I found myself spending an increasing amount of time.

oh, so level four personnel could be reassigned, that was cool. suddenly, an alert flashed across the screen, a program I had put in Shield servers had finally reacted, sending me a message at the first mention of any keywords relating to Steve Rogers. "A bit early for his awakening, but I suppose I did give them all the information to find him outside a giant neon arrow pointing to his forehead." I groaned as another thought occurred to me, with the Captain they probably found the Tesseract, hooray another problem we may run into sooner than needed. oh well, the events of Thor hadn't happened, so Dr. Selvig wasn't on Shields' radar yet, probably, and Loki hadn't joined with Thanos yet, so the New York invasion wouldn't happen any sooner, probably.
I surfed through some more Shield files. It seems Cap would be awake within two to three to four months, according to their scientists.

I could modify Mobile Task Force gear directly in the system. I was thinking I'd have to manually craft each piece of gear. that makes my life easier, although it, just like all things from the system, probably costs points. still though if I could get my hands on some vibranium and some Stark armor, I could make my Task Forces nearly unstoppable. that was short term though, imagine if I could get some Kang tech or even just some alien stuff.
I put those thoughts away for now, as I didn't even have a task force to equip right now. now that I could copy things though, I needed to find a way to get my hands on one of Tony's arc reactors, they would eliminate most of the upkeep cost of my future sites, well the electrical upkeep anyway.
Come 0-5, focus. make later plans for later, right now I have a little girl to find before she gets weaponized by Hydra. after all, if they dropped her off at Avengers tower later there would be some serious issues since it isn't likely they would turn away a lone child. not to mention the whole exploitation of a child thing Hydra was trying to do.
I walked over to a map set on a table in the middle of the observation room. yarn, pins, and markers showed the locations of each set of bodies that I suspected came from 053 and the path between each location. honestly, it looked less like a professional tracking effort and more like a conspiracy board. based on the pathing she would end up at one of two ports or descend into the bowels of the New York subway, both of which would probably end horribly.
my phone rang, and Fury's caller ID displayed itself prominently across the screen. "you have reached the Go Away Hotline, the recipient of your call has no wish to speak with you at the moment please call again at the end of time" I said before hanging up the phone and turning my attention back to the map, there was no way I could make it to all of the possible scenes, I had to choose one and pray, although if Hydra showed up I would be a sitting duck, I had no weapons except what security was equipped with I suppose I could take a set of gear from them.

when staffed by chefs reduces upkeep costs in the food category, required to feed non-system-produced staff

reduces upkeep costs in the power category
- Lounge
reduces the stress of staff, leading to more efficient work
- Amnestic Department
produces amnestic for field workers when staffed with scientists

okay, side objective acquired, onto my other task, finding my current anomaly, guess I'll start at the train station, it's easier to escape if something goes wrong.
