"I'm glad to hear that. And how's college? You mentioned you were starting to like Gwen Stacy?" asked Jack.
"Yeah, we've been dating recently. It's tough because I have to hide my identity, and her dad's a cop, but at least he likes Spider-Man," said Peter, laughing.
"College is much better now that you've been helping me out. I don't have to leave in the middle of class anymore, especially since the city's villains disappeared in the last few months," said Peter, happily.
"Peter, I asked you here for another reason besides chatting. You know I know about your situation, and we've known each other well in the past few years, so I want to help you," said Jack, deciding to reveal part of the truth.
"Lately, I helped a friend out with something, and it's going to bring in a lot of money for him. He paid me well for it, and I bought a laboratory in New York. I want to hire you to work in my lab," said Jack.
Peter was shocked when he heard Jack say he wanted to hire him. It was amazing to see a friend who lived close to him suddenly say he had made a lot of money and bought a laboratory.
But Peter soon understood that Jack was doing this to help him with his money problem. After all, Jack knew that if he offered money to Peter, he wouldn't accept it, so he decided to buy a laboratory instead.
Peter, who studied science in college, knew how expensive it was to set up a laboratory. Even a small one costs almost a million dollars. Peter couldn't imagine that Jack had bought a large building.
It was true that Jack knew Peter wouldn't accept the money and had bought the company to help him, but the reason he trusted spending millions on the lab was that he trusted Peter's talent.
In addition, Jack would use the lab to create some things and also had other plans for the lab, he certainly wouldn't lose money on it in the future.

"Okay, I'll remember that, let's see this lab so I know what I'll have to buy and who to hire," said Peter excitedly.
Jack soon went with Peter to visit the lab, they went in the car that Jack had bought to travel around New York, and soon Peter was shocked again seeing the huge building that Jack had bought and protected.
"Why did you buy such a big lab? This lab should be used to manufacture drugs, for us, this building is too big," said Peter.
"I know that, I bought this lab for a lower price from a bankrupt company. In addition, I will use the lab for other things, you just need to buy equipment for one or two of the rooms that you will use," said Jack.
Since the lab had already been purchased, Peter didn't say anything else, he soon chose two rooms that had already been used for research, and he began to make a list of the things they would have to buy.
"You can make your web fluid here without having to hide and you can even think about improving it. In addition to research, I want you to spend your time here in the lab thinking about how to create cures for villains," Jack said.
"Create a device to take Electro's powers away, to cure Sandman, Doctor Octopus, so we can get rid of some villains and maybe create some allies," said Jack.
