Capítulo 11: EP9- HUNTING FOR THE UNKNOWN
They finally arrived in the village and were met with a warm reception. the villagers were all happy and joyous like their saviour has arrived.they have heard about their other adventures how they have defeated and slain the beast ,
they were then escorted to the chief's palace.
"The chief is a tall lanky old man. He's heavily depressed over the current abduction of his only daughter. He had hoped that you lot could help him save his daughter ".
After the team had settled down the chieftain began on reason he had assembled them.
"As my friend Jonathan just have informed you, my daughter has gone missing."
"How did she disappear?"John leaned in more interested and more also out of curiosity .
"No one knows. She went to sleep the previous night and in the morning when one of the palace maids went to her room to wake her up, she was gone and the windows which had been previously shut were wide open."
There was no struggle or did anyone heard any scream coming from her room.
"You know she could have eloped or ran away with a lover "Kyra spoke to the chief.
He disagreed firmly. "I know my daughter. This isn't like her." My daughter can be anything but running away isn't one of them.
"We'll help you ."Levi said After some silence. Avyanna was surprised. Levi rarely took interest in any business concerning others,except he has something personal to gain
"Thank you. I will pay any amount you ask". The chiefly man said.
Levi got up."First show us to her room."
They were led to a well furnished bedroom.Avyanna collapsed on the bed.
"This is the softest bed I've ever slept on." it's so comfortable here, am just beginning to wonder why the chief's daughter will ever want to run away from all this wealth and luxury.
"So you've never slept on a soft bed before " Obi asked.
"Its called cynicism ". She retorted.
Conrad added. "Talking about sleeping ...
"CLUES!!!!!!!" Avyanna yelled."Lets look for clues."
Levi wasn't listening to them. He was scanning the room for something in particular, something to confirm his doubt.
Then he saw it.
He bent down and picked up a darkish Blue feather that lay discreetly by the window sill.
Kyra peered at it."What is it'?
"I think I know what it is but we need to get some confirmation and She can help with that."He looked at Avyanna who was lying on the bed.
She suddenly noticed that all of them were Staring hard at her.Avyanna just had to ask...
"Why are you all staring at me for??
