Capítulo 89: Revelation and Fury

Venus was disappointed that instead of Damoen, she saw Asmoed hovering over her like an overprotective mother hen when she opened her eyes. "What happened? Are you all right?" he asked.

"I am well rested, I just fainted," she said.

"We don't need to do what we had planned, my lady," he said.

"I will do it, whether you come with me or not," she said.

"It's dangerous, and it may harm you and the baby," he insisted.

"Don't underestimate me, Asmoed; I've prepared myself for it," she said.

"You are such a stubborn human, I ever met," he said and disappeared.

Damoen was in the training field fighting with General Gan and Kahlo when Asmoed appeared. The demon bowed at him, which he never did. He was a prince of the dark afterlife, more powerful than the king of the wolves and humans, but he was giving him respect. What for? Damoen asks himself.

"I want to have a private talk with you, my king," he said.
