Erebus was held in place due to the pain of getting hit by the holy brilliance of Lilith's sword, Ascalon. It was only for a brief moment, but it was more than enough for Aqua and Isla to close the distance, with their respective weapons clad in a thick amount of mana.

The two of them instinctively knew that if they missed this chance, there wouldn't be another one anytime soon.

"Typhon!"

Aqua and Isla's voices merged into one as they waved their weapons simultaneously.

The mana clad around Isla's Trident turned into a violent storm, ravaging her immediate surroundings, before it landed on Erebus' left side. Aqua, on the other hand, waved the Trishula in a wide arc while the tip was destroying the space it passed through before it hit Erebus' on its right side.

Both attacks connected—a solid hit!
