The Omegas who had opened the doors to the compound for Zeke and Azia found him in the healers ward and asked what they could do to assist him. Zeke informed them both in quick, clipped tones what had transpired in the woods, then asked the Omegas to send word to the Bronson compound as quickly as they could.

"The Bronson Alpha needs to be informed about Azia's condition--albeit, gently," he instructed them. "Please, assist her in any way that she needs and get her here as quickly as possible."

"Right away, sir," one of the Omegas replied and left the room on a run. The other Omega was right on his heels.

It wasn't until he was alone again that Zeke thought about his own mother and how important it was to inform her of what had happened. But he had no idea where she was that morning, nor did he want to leave and look for her himself. He wanted to be in the ward the moment any of the healers had a scrap of news to provide.
