Capítulo 19: TEARS

Now Kai knew for a fact that she was lying, whenever she lied she would talk too fast and rush her words.

He could only wonder what happened to her but if she wasn't willing to talk then he was not going to force her.

And so Kai followed behind her to his car as they both went to work. Inside the car, Kai noticed how Abigail would sometimes blink too many times like there was something in her eyes.

"Abi, are you sure you are alright?" He asked again but Abigail responded with a smile as she told him to drive and that there was nothing to worry about.

And so Kai then started the car, it was a thirty minutes drive to the office from Abigail's apartment and within that thirty minutes silence reigned in the car as neither was willing to start a conversation.

Kai would sometimes steal glances at Abigail and would notice how she was always looking outside with a far of gaze.
