Capítulo 129: New Beginning

Malachi wasn't sure what to feel when he saw Nyx again. 

But before he knew what his body was doing, he'd stood up and started walking towards her. 

Even though Nyx's son now looked a lot more like her, she couldn't bring herself to be happy about it. 

How could she when she knew that this was literally the opposite of everything that he had wanted. 

Nevertheless, if she had to do it all over again she would do it without a second thought. 

Irregardless of the hopes of the other gods, she had truly come to love Malachi like her own son and she only wanted the best for him. 

Even if it was selfish of her, she would never apologize for wanting to keep her son alive. 

She just... had to pray that he wasn't too upset with her. 

"Son... I-"

Before Nyx could speak, Malachi wrapped his arms around his mother and pulled her into his arms.

His body instinctively moved on it's own, and he surprised even himself with his actions.
