After a few minutes of silence the crowd went into an uproar. The nobles were in a visible panic and the commoners were overjoyed. After a couple of minutes of chatter one of the commoners asked: "Do anyone of the teachers has a magic talent?"
Max watched the group and saw three commoners that had a magic talent. He also saw a couple of nobles with talent but they did not interest him. Most of the nobles looked at him with ugly faces. Only the low level ones did not really care.
Max pointed at the three commoner teachers in different sides of the hall and said: "All of you have a magic talent. I can't say what type of element talent you have or what is your level of talent. There might be a chance for you to not have talent for any element. In the case you could learn only support and buff skills like healing and strength increase and so on. If you have a talent with some of the elements than you could also study spells of the element. As for the nobles with magic talent. I'm sure that this is not a secret for them."
Max did not want to call them by name because they will be creeped out. He shocked those guys enough for one day. Max saw that James was a little sad because he did not have magic talent but after that he looked at Max with a grateful look. James was a low level noble. He was not arrogant and did not look at commoners like at low lives or trash. He got mistreated by the high level noble teachers sometimes because of his origins and because of that he did not want to treat other people in the same way. He knew how bad it felt. He liked the fact that this new acquaintance Mad Max did not care about the nobles and their power. He did what he thought was right. James liked the fact that commoners will have a better chance at life after those changed will be implemented.
Max looked at the different teachers and got the point that shit was going to hit the fan really quickly if he wont leave so just excused himself and left with his little team. James was left in the hall, while commoners and nobles were asking details about Max and his origins.
Max, Valeria, Derek and Rey asked James before they left where is the commoners accommodations and they were heading to the direction they were pointed to. The scenery around was beautiful. Valeria was looking around curiously like a little child. Generally they all acted in a similar way. Every one of them from different reasons. Max wanted to read the rules of the school and know how can he act in different cases. Also he wanted to read about his responsibilities as a teacher. How many classes he needed to teach? Did he have some privileges? Every right should be known and used. He wanted to establish his gaming club faster and just close it to the outside world and go to study those books.
After around twenty minutes of walking towards the direction James showed they arrived before a big building with many floors. Max saw that each floor had many rooms. He was sure that the commoners lived in groups of few in one room. The building was well kept. It was not something grand like the building for teachers but it was still impressive. Max saw that the academy did not mistreat those students. It lifted Max's impression of the academy in general.
The scenery around was peaceful. There was lot of greenery around. A lot of trees and flowers all around. It was a little paradise. The air was fresh and it generally gave a peaceful environment to study and progress in the aspect the student were researching. If it was connected to theoretical studies or combat practices. Max was generally happy. He found a place near the building of the commoners with a few trees around and set up the gaming club. Max left Valeria and Derek at the gaming club and headed with Rey to register him. After getting Rey's robes of a first year commoner student and making sure he was registered in a good room in the accommodation for commoners Max got back to the gaming club. The process went in a very smooth way because when the stuff saw that Rey was escorted by a senior teacher they got moving. Even if that teacher was a commoner no one dared to offend such figure. The amount of senior teachers was very low. Most of them never been seen by commoners because they would be teaching the elite nobles.
Rey wanted to come with Max to the gaming club but Max explained to him that it was a needed move. To be a part of society. He was a student. He was not a teacher or someone else. So he needed to act like a student. Of course Rey will still could come and train in the gaming club but he need to study, interact with other students and teachers. After thinking about it Rey agreed reluctantly. He got the point.
After finishing with Rey Max got down and headed to the gaming club. The trio ate a meal, while speaking about the day events. They were all generally satisfied with their arrival to this institution. Here they could take roots and build their faction.
After the meal it was already getting late. Max and company saw a small amount of students getting back to the commoner accommodation. Some were happy and chatting with each other. Some of them were down or sad, looking at the books in their hands. That was part of student's life. Max remembered his previous life. When he was part of the university. How much he sat to study until late hours. How much he failed. How much he suffered. It was part of life. Path of life of building yourself as a person.
After looking for some time at the different students getting back to the accommodation for the night Max took the books and went to the simulation to study. He got those books in his spacial ring so he could get them to the simulation. It was time to get to know the rules of the academy. He did not wanted to be provoked into making mistakes and then being used by others because of his stupidity.
After thinking a little bit about the future and nodding with conviction Max entered to the simulation to study.
