Capítulo 119: A Brewing Storm (2)

 After taking note of what Lily had written, his heart instantly began to speed up because his mind had imagined the worst scenarios that could take place considering Jeremy as a whole. Even at that, Cassian didn't want to believe this had something to do with Jeremy until he made it to the mansion, and the red-haired stranger told him to check all the rooms in the mansion, and that his wife was inside one of them.

In all his life, Cassian couldn't remember the last time someone's disappearance affected him the way Madeline's disappearance did. There was a strong urge inside of him that continuously pulled him into finding out where her whereabouts might be, and discovering that she was somewhere in the same mansion only increased his worry and need to find her.
