Well, that was a dumb idea

Did you ever think this wasn’t such a great idea? Yeah, that was me as it poured, and we got drenched. We ran back to the car and ducked inside.

I turned on the heat because our teeth were chattering, and our lips turned blue. I drove her back to her place, and we ran inside.

/"I’ll get us towels and dry clothes./" She ran into another room.

I stood there, trying to shake the water out of my hair. She returned a few minutes later with a towel and dry clothes.

I lifted my brow.

/"They’re my brother’s clothes. When he came to visit, he forgot some./" She rolled her eyes.

/"Good to know./"

/"The bathroom is the second door on the left./" She pointed down the hallway.

I walked by her and went to change as she did the same. I had to admit, dry clothes were much better than wet ones. Once I changed, I came out and found Paige in the kitchen, making us a coffee.
