Abigail looked at her hesitantly. She didn't know why she had a bad feeling. She was reluctant to let her go alone. However, she relented in the end and agreed to her request.
The car stopped at the intersection near Elsa's house. "Are you sure you don't want me to come to your house with you?" Abigail asked, her voice low and urgent. "I can't just leave you here alone, especially when you're in danger."
Elsa shook her head, her long blonde hair falling across her shoulders like a veil. "No, Abigail," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry, I can't invite you into the house today. See you later."
Abigail sighed and reluctantly nodded. "Call me when you are free." She smiled and leaned over to hug Elsa tightly. "Just be careful, okay?" she whispered.
Elsa nodded and opened the door, stepping out into the cool afternoon air. She glanced back at Abigail, her eyes shining with determination. "I'll be fine," she said. "I promise."
