Abigail squinted through the windscreen, worried that the man's health would worsen before they reached the hospital. She was worried for the stranger, whose name she didn't even know as if he were a part of her own family.
Sebastian was only staring at his daughter, his heart overflowing with emotions. He had yearned to see her, to talk to her, and to know everything about her life. His eyes followed her every move with intense affection, pride, and love.
Seeing her grow up and be successful filled him with immense joy and pride. At the same time, guilt and regret gnawed at him from within, knowing he had missed so much of her life.
He desperately wanted to reach out and embrace her, but he had no idea how.
A thought occurred to him.
"Ahu-Ahu-Ahu…" He started coughing, clasping his chest.
"Are you okay?" Abigail asked worriedly.
When she saw him continue coughing, she panicked.
