Capítulo 47: The interrogation

Abigail stood in front of him, her teary eyes full of complaints. "I saw you with her. You were hugging her and comforting her. Who is she?"

Her voice became barely audible at the end of the sentence because she couldn't hold her emotions back.

"A friend... a close friend," he said. "She came back after a long time and became emotional as she recalled the past. Why? Didn't you get emotional when you talked to your friend?"

Abigail was rendered speechless. She opened her mouth and then shut it again, not saying anything.

Christopher was indeed right.

She had become emotional when she spoke with Elsa on the phone. She was embarrassed as she realized that she had misunderstood him and acted recklessly, which made him worried.
