Chapter 335: Vivi vs Mom Part 4
Big Mom continued her assault.
Vivi put most of her focus on avoiding that dangerously looking sword.
"Ikoku!" Big Mom launched her shockwave once Vivi managed to gain a bit of distance, not allowing her any time to create more weapons.
"This is annoying…" Vivi huffed.
"Ahhh!" Big Mom yelled and continued slashing at her.
She seemed to be in some sort of berserk state and not fully aware of what she was doing.
'But she has good instincts…even in her state, she uses complex techniques to move and attack' Vivi noticed.
An overwhelming sensation invaded her, and she knew it was time.
"It's here…" Vivi smiled. "Time to put an end to this…let's see how much you can take."
The two spectators were shocked to see a wave approaching from the south.
"A tsunami?" Pekoms exclaimed.
Drops of water started to fall upon them as the wave got closer.
The moment droplets touched their skin, they both realized.
"This is seawater!" Smoothie shouted.
"But the sea is two miles away at the bottom of the falls!" Pekoms added.
The island of Wano was raised several hundred feet over sea level and surrounded by falls that created powerful currents.
Vivi had to create this wave from a very long distance away and move all that water into the island.
She could only hope her efforts were worth it because that stunt had taken a heavy toll on her.
The wave transformed into a giant human-looking palm and smashed Big Mom, trapping her inside.
Vivi saw her struggle under the seawater but never lost consciousness.
She opened her eyes widely and regained her senses before using her powerful legs to get away from the mass of water.
"HAAA!!" She screamed and breathed heavily.
Vivi was not planning on letting her go now.
The seawater transformed into countless strands of ice that surrounded Big Mom and attached to her body while turning into restraints equivalent to Seastone cuffs.
Big Mom continued to struggle and fight against this as more restraints were placed on her.
"It's over…no matter how much of a monster you are…in the end, you also suffer from the Devil Fruit curse. You cannot win against the sea!" Vivi screamed, her eyes shining brightly and her skin turning into blue scales.
The next instant, she became a giant, twice the size of Big Mom.
Her control and power increased this way, and she pushed herself to her limits.
Big Mom was going crazy, breaking one restraint after another while trying to get away.
"Noo, stop! I don't want this!...leave me alone!" In her distressed state, her mind regressed to a younger age. "Leave me be! Mother, help me!"
"Your mother can't help you, Linlin…not after you ate her," Vivi told her.
Big Mom opened her eyes widely.
Apparently, no one had ever dared to even suggest this possibility.
"Noo, she left me!" Big Mom's struggle became weaker and weaker.
Now! Vivi put more than a dozen restraints on her before transforming the rest of the water into a massive sphere that trapped her opponent inside.
"Ahhh!" Vivi screamed, pushing her powers further. She compressed the sphere of water until it became ice, with Big Mom inside.
"Mother…" Smoothie stared at the sight. She had a hard time believing that her mother had lost a fight.
Having been weakened by the seawater, Big Mom lost her chance to resist any longer.
Vivi continued to compress the sphere of ice, making it smaller while crushing the woman inside.
The two witnesses stared in shock, watching the macabre spectacle through the crystalline ice.
Her bones broke down, her flesh was torn apart.
The being once known as the Empress of the seas, Charlotte Linlin, was reduced to a mass of gore.
The sphere of ice that once was over twenty meters wide was now no bigger than three.
What remained inside could no longer be called a person.
But just to be sure, she sent the ball of compressed ice flying into the distance and sank back into the seas.
Vivi scanned the area several times to make sure her aura was completely gone.
"It's over…" She finally said.
"She is dead…I can't believe this…" Pekoms stared into the distance.
Smoothie felt conflicted. She knew her mother never held any love for her or her siblings, but still…
"I did nothing to help her…"
"There is nothing you could have done," Vivi told from a good distance away. "But if you want to avenge her…I am here now."
Smoothie looked at her with mixed feelings.
"Lady Smoothie, please don't… we will need you all to keep the peace at Whole Cake Island," Pekoms begged her not to fight. He knew she had no chance of victory.
Smoothie sighed. "Let's go home…we have no more business here." She gave Vivi one last glance and walked away.
"Good girl," Vivi whispered softly.
One Emperor down…the rest is up to you, Captain, Vivi glanced back at the castle. All her friends were in there, fighting their own opponents.
"Let's go check."
