Capítulo 21: registering as an adventurer and also my very own creation.
After Zane and Lilly finished eating they left. the inn but before that they asked the innkeeper for information concerning the adventurers guild.
After walking for six minutes they finally halted on front of a huge building. "This is quite bigger than the rest of the buildings I've seen." Zane said to Lilly as they both walked into the guild, they were greeted by a lady in a maids outfit. "You must be new here, follow me." the lady said placing his hands in-between Zane's arm as they walked to a counter with a young woman who seemed to be in her late twenties standing behind it. "Hi I'm the guild receptionist, you can call me Tina, I'm guessing you want to register as an adventurer right?" she asked with a nice voice.
"Yes, we both want to register as a rank B Adventurer." Zane said with confidence. "No, no dear that's not how things work, you'll have to start from the button and climb your way to rank B. Adventurers are grouped from rank F to Rank Ss. Place your hand in this cube it'll create your adventurers badge as an identification of your registration then after that you'll have to place a drop of your blood on this card to create your skill card." Tina said bringing out an orb and two plain white card.
"I'll go first," Zane said to Lilly as he placed his hand in the orb after two minutes a bronze badge with the drawing of three stars on it but only one of the three stars had a bright glow. after that, Zane bit his finger with enough force capable of making it bleed. he placed his hand over one of the plain card as his blood fell on it, the card illuminated with a bright silver light. as the plain white card turned into a silver light. "A silver card, but that must mean his stats are comparable to a Rank C or even B. can I see your stats." Tina asked as Zane gave it to her. "No you'll have to be holding it for me to see it." Tina said giving Zane back the card.
[Zane Alterion, (job:Rank F Adventurer) strength: 110, speed : 145, stamina: 232, magic power: 295, luck: 610, intelligence: 450, stamina 400/400, Mana:800/800, (skills: locked)] "impressive, but it seems he doesn't want me to view his skills," Tina thought to herself looking speechless. "A rank F adventurer with rank B stats"Tina said to herself as she watched Lilly go through the process.Lilky followed the process but instead of a bronze badge, a silver badge appeared an all the three stars had a bright glow." a Rank A badge that's supposed to be impossible except if you've registered as an adventurer before." Tina said. "No actually I haven't." Lilly said.
"Have you perhaps touched something similar to like this cube?"Tina asked in confusion. "yes, in the elven kingdom, before I became a guardian and also a Valkyrie." Lilly said. "Wow, so you're a Valkyrie, then that must mean you must be as strong as an A rank adventure." After Lilly dropped her blood on the card, it illuminated with an even brighter silver light than Zane. "That's your rank A skill card" Tina said.
"Can we get some quest." Zane asked. "Of course."Tina replied bringing out two different stack of papers. "One for you and one for her." Tina said. on Zane's quest all he could see were, "Gather ten poison ivy herbs, gather seven green mushrooms, gather five purple mushrooms, WHAT!!!!, is this!!!!!, is this some kind of farmers guild?????" Zane asked in fury.
"That's the level of quest that's available for Rank F."Tina said with a forced smile. Zane peeped on Lilly's quests. "Slay the giant six legged basilisk and bring it's teeth and claws, slay the demon In the jade mountain, defeat the shadow guard, kill an amphiptere. these are all epic quest, wyvern, basilisk, amphiptere they all fall under the dragon family. Damn it I'll need to Increase my rank as soon as possible."Zane thought to himself.
"Is there any Rank F quest that doesn't involve gathering herbs?" Zane asked. "yes, kill three slimes." Tina asked. "Wait one question, how do the guild know if a quest like this is completed, I mean there are no evidence, I could just come back and say I'm done even if I didn't kill any slime at all." Zane asked. "Well you see, the badge you wear is for more than just Identification, it take records of your quest and with this cube I can easily tell." Tina said. Lilly returned the quest without accepting any. "Is there anything wrong with the quest?"Tina asked. "no, it's just that, I'll have to follow Zane to his own quest, I can't leave his side." Lilly said.
"It's okay, I can handle myself." Zane said with a smile. "I know, but it's my duty to follow you." Lilly said as they both left the guild. Zane went back to the inn as he sat on his bed. "The two sword I have are mysterious, so I should not use them as my weapon for now, I'll have to create my own blade." Zane said with a smile as it was an opportunity to check out his creation and enchant.
"Zane brought out the immortal death steel sword he acquired from the elf treasury and started to observe the physical appearance.
"Shall we begin." Zane said after customizing the sword in his head, a bright light filled the room before revealing a 41 inches sword with a black gold blade and an epic looking golden hilt. "Creating this weapon caused three hundred M.P totally worth it. I'll name it the world killer Gamisha." Zane said with a smile looking at his master piece. "Appraisal." Zane said looking at the sword.
[world killer (Gamisha) Grade: D, skill None. enchantment stone slot(3), transfer slot(3).] "I'm afraid my M.P isn't enough to edit the description, but I can copy three skills to the blade. Let's see if I can transfer from my previous weapon instead, Transfer super Sonic vibrating edge from Tarawinzala." Zane said. [It'll cost 200 M.P, do you want to proceed?] Zane asked. "That's a lot but sure." Zane said. "Transfer phantom blade from immortal death steel sword." Zane said. It cost him 150 but he was amazed that the once Grade D was now a Grade A.
"Impressive, show me my stats." Zane said
