Capítulo 14: Secret cave and a giant rabbit.
The next day, Zane and Lilly continued their journey to the elven village. "Home long do we have to walk, damn my legs are killing me, not to mention I'm hungry."Zane said as his stomach made a growling sound.
"Why don't we have a break and hunt monsters, the monsters that inhabit this place are tasty, they called giant rabbit."Lilly said. "I thought elves were surppossed to be vegetarians." Zane thought to himself as he just stared at Lilly. "All right we'll go separate ways, take this just incase, it's a soul ring if any of us is in trouble it'll turn red."Lilly said giving Zane a blue ring.
"Thanks, but are you sure you can fight by yourself." Zane asked. "oh don't worry, I'm an excellent fighter." Lilly said. "That's not what I mean, have you fully recovered yet?"Zane asked. "oh you see when I was contracted to you as a slave, not only I recover but my power increased a lot so I can manage." she said sprinting deeper into the forest.
"Sage where is the closest giant rabbit located?" Zane asked. [Answer>2000 metres north, I'm an underground cave, but it isn't a normal giant rabbit.]
"An underground cave, maybe there might also be treasure's on it."Zane thought yo himself as he dashed towards the location of the cave.
"where is the entrance." Zane thought to himself. *far great sight x5" Zane said as his vision improved he could see everything that was ten miles from him, even the flow of magic power and that was when Zane discovered an unusual magic power on a rock.
"That must be it." Zane said pushing the rock inside as a gigantic hole with a stair case stretching to the very depth appeared on the ground. ""is there anything that pose a threat to me in this place?" Zane asked the sage.
[Answer> just after the territory of the giant rabbit, there is a secret room, the secret room has wealth that could turn a person from rag to riches or treasure's that could turn a F rank adventurer to an s rank, but the thing guarding it is a creature you can't possibly deal with at least not now, but maybe after you get 8 percent of your power you would be stronger than it]
"That'll take a long time, but I'm sure the treasure's would be worth it."zane thought to himself as he soon got to the giant rabbit's territory. "Appraisal" Zane said looking at a blue furry body with a height roughly about three metres tall.
[Evolved giant rabbit: The evolved version of the giant rabbit, it is twice the size of a normal giant rabbit, it's skin is as tough as metal and has a unique skill (stupefy)]
"that's catchy," Zane thought to himself as he stretched his hand towards the giant rabbit. "ice bullet."Zane said shooting a finger sized bullet of ice from his palm as it directly impaled it. "What I missed." Zane said as he looked at the unscathed. The rabbit remained unfazed as it just stood still staring at Zane, "since it's fast enough to dodge ranged attacks, I'll just fight it head on." just as Zane was about to move he felt a deep cut on his back which sent him flying.
"I swear, it didn't move from it's position." Zane said as he looked at the rabbit, as his blood was dripping down from it's claws, Zane remained focus looking at it without blinking,just as he was about to move he felt another cut in his back as he leaped away from his position. "damn it."Zane said.
[enemy is using it's unique skill stupefy to slow down your eyes and ear senses making you unable to detect it's real location.]
"But, the bracelet my mum gave me was supposed to protect me against illusion."zane thought to himself.
[right and wrong, illusion is seeing false evidence of images and sometimes feeling them, in other words it only real outside your body, but stupefy is making someone unable to think or feel properly by disrupting their senses. They're two different things, the giant rabbit is currently behind you, but you see it in front of you, that's because it has stupefied your senses of sight and hearing making you believe it's still there meanwhile it slowly walked to your back. So the best option is to use far great sight, so with that you'll be able to see the flow of energy, it's using a concealment skill to blend it's magic power to the level of it surrounding, but it's not on an even chart, you might not be able to see it clearly but you just have to get a good shot at it and you win.]
"Far great sight" Zane said looking at his environment, its three feet away from me, water ball would do the trick just incase it doesn't finish it off." Zane thought to himself building up a massive sphere of water ball which he later condensed to increase the pressure, he pretended to be aiming it at the fake great rabbit.
"gotcha" Zane said as he rotated his howl body half way, releasing the water ball at the rabbit. the force was equal to that of a high speed truck which sent the rabbit crashing at the wall of the cave.
The rabbit was visible during that period of shock but it instantly activated the skill again this time completely blending in with the environment. "no need, it's weird seeing droplets of water floating in the air, it seems your skill only works on you and not everything your skin has contact with, now let's finish this" Zane said charging a super sharp ice and wind bullet which revolved round each other forming a drilling bullet.
Zane boosted the power of the attack by hundred percent shooting the monster with everything he's got it fell on the ground with loud thud before the revealing it's body.
