Capítulo 39: Dungeon (5)
Darkness surrounded me in this enclosed space that was moist but also burning my skin.
I could feel the worm which just swallowed me moving so I assumed that Scarlet was fighting it after seeing me getting swallowed.
Despite being inside the belly of a monster I feel no fear still. Nothing. Just like normal.
I gripped Adonis harder and continued to engulf it in flames as I slashed down inside the monsters stomach. The walls of its stomach were weak and squishy so I easily ripped through and I felt it's body wriggle and squirm. Using [Elemental breath] with [Inferno] made a strong hurricane like flame shoot out my mouth and scorch the insides of the worm.
I grabbed Adonis with much needed strength and thrust forwards, piercing through its skin and slashing downwards making a slit I could crawl through. The worm was screeching and squirming everywhere as it felt it's insides getting ripped and sliced apart.
I cut open the worm from the inside and got out covered in green blood which stuck to me with a slimy texture. The worm was collapsed on the floor of the cave writhing in pain and I drove my sword down on its body. With all my strength I slashed through it and ultimately separating it into two and burning it with the flames that surrounded my sword.
"Huh?"
"What?" I said back to Scarlet who looked confused.
"You- your meant to be dead?"
"Why am I meant to be dead? Do I look dead to you? It didn't seem too difficult to get out."
"The acid from its stomach can burn through almost anything. You should be dead."
"Sorry to disappoint but it doesn't seem to burn through dragon. Thanks for the concern." I said as I walked off in another direction before a deep pain struck me.
I kneeled down and clutched my chest.
"Are you alright? Kiera?" Scarlet came over to me and put a hand on my shoulder with a concerned look.
"I'll be alright. Just delay pains." I said as I got back to my feet.

'I could ask Scarlet to protect me while I evolve.' I thought to myself but then remembered that it took me forever last time but that was from my injuries.
'System how long do you estimate the evolution will take?'

"Hey Scarlet can you protect me for like an hour and a bit. I'm going to take a nap." I said as I laid down.
"I don't think now is the time for a nap but alright." Scarlet said watching me. "I'll only interfere if your attacked."
"Okay, thanks in advance." I said as I closed my eyes instantly falling asleep.

"Haven't seen you in a while darling~" I heard a familiar voice call out.
"I guess so." I replied back to the smiling goddess.
"Come on act happier!" The goddess whined.
"No. I'm here to evolve so if you don't mind."

"What's the best option?" I asked the goddess as she let out a hum.
"[Black elemental wyrm] I think is the best. It's good in all elements, it's an all rounder dragon and the other options are just worse in general. [Ghostly dragon] is the ghost of a dragon, you just live forever with your current stats and unable to evolve. [Fire wyrm] only specialises in fire magic so not the best." The goddess replied.
"I'll trust your decision again then." I said selecting [Black elemental wyrm].

"Ah." I said jolting up.
"What happened?!" Scarlet said as if something major just happened.
"What are you on about?" I said back to her.
"Your body was encased in a black and purple mist and then it shone a white light. It ended as you woke up. What happened, answer me." Scarlet said placing both hands on my shoulders and bending down to meet my eyes with a concerned look plastered all over her face.
"That doesn't matter, I'm just.. different from before you could say." I replied as I looked at her hands on my shoulder and picked it up and brushed my shoulder down as I got up.
"In what way? Was the mist good or bad?"
"Good."
"Alright then. Also you look different."
"Hmm in what ways do I look different?" I answered.
"You're taller then before, you should've noticed when you stood up right? and you have a mature look despite being 12, your face is more defined along with your body. Was that from the mist?"
"Yeah probably. Also I'm not 12, since you know I'm a dragon I might as well tell you. Dragons grow twice as fast as humans so if I look 10 I'll actually be 5 but I guess that doesn't count now since I'm taller and more 'mature' from your words describing me."
"What?! How old are you then?"
"6."
"HUH!?" Scarlet looked confused beyond comparison.
"If we joined when we were 12 we would be fully grown so we would look like adults. This would be the best option but i came here for only 2 reasons. To help my friend and learn a bit more since I've already read all the books in our mountain. Keep this a secret or I'll just kill you when I'm strong enough."
"So there is another? And I'm not going to reveal your secret or everyone will try to hunt you down so don't worry. Just one thing, two actually. Can I see your dragon form?" Scarlet said in excitement and anticipation.
"I don't know about that one."
"Awww. Then who is the other dragon?"
"I cannot say unless they want to. I'm sure you've already got a clue."
'I wonder if I can use [Telepathy] from this distance to my mum.'
I activated telepathy and aimed it at my mum,
'Mum, I'm currently in a dungeon which was a low ranking one which I could beat by myself in no time at all no doubt but it's changed. The dungeon as in. It's now I high levelled rank dungeon but I'm not sure at what level but I've encountered a B - rank beast and I transformed so I had my wings. The instructor I'm with knows but she will keep my secret. She said she doesn't want to harm dragons. Should I believe her?' I thought directing them to mother.
"What are you doing?" Scarlet asked.
"Shush."
'I'd believe her since it's normal. They don't normally say they don't want to harm us though so they don't go against higher power. Don't worry. Have you shown her your dragon form?' I felt this message pang into my mind and it was with mothers voice so I could only assume she got my message.
'Just my humanoid form, the half dragon and half human one. I haven't shown her the true dragon form.'
'Good, don't show her your dragon form unless totally necessary since your in a high level dungeon. What rank is she?'
'A - rank.' I replied
'Hm she should be able to defeat them unless it's an A - rank dungeon. It probably is. Make sure to only use your dragon form when they are to strong to beat with both you and the instructor.'
'Alright thanks mum.' I finished my telepathy with mother and turned back to face Scarlet.
"You can't see my dragon form. I just checked with mother."
"With mother? Your dragon mum from all the way over here? How?"
"Ever heard of telepathy? That's how."
"What's that?"
"Doesn't matter." I said as I continued down the cave.

'Levelling up seems a lot more difficult and all my stats went up 300 from the evolution? That didn't happen last time. I guess that's because this is a powerful race evolution?'
After checking my stats I noticed I was now at rank B+.
