Enel looked at Victor, "Tell me why."

Enel was very interested in getting an answer. The reason was that he could not believe that Victor of all people could betray him.

Victor had a tight bond with Lenny. And it was known that he loved a lot.

It was unthinkable that Victor of all people would join Lucifer.

What Enel did not know was that Victor had no choice in the matter.

Victor explained that it was inevitable. At the time, his wife had just died and he was in a very vulnerable state.

He needed someone to talk to, someone to listen. Of course, Vandora was there, but she was a hell beast and was in no way capable of understanding his situation.

What he needed was affection at a more human level.

But he had none. Besides, he could not open up to his children or the rest of his pack. He had to be their Alpha, an unbreakable leader.

But even he had a heart, and the loss of one's mate was deeper than any blow.
