Capítulo 16: Chapter 15
The next morning Eita did not want to get up, he was exhausted and sleepy because he spent all night writing the novel, he may have been carried away by the excitement and only stopped when he saw the sunlight rising causing him to sleep only 1 hour before the alarm went off.
For today he made an exception and skipped training as he felt the little energy they had would run out if he did, shuffling his feet he went to the kitchen and made himself a cup of coffee which helped wake him up, made some simple scrambled eggs and waited for Chiwa to arrive.
"Good morning E-kun!!!" Within minutes Chiwa arrived greeting cheerfully.
"Good morning Chiwa, come have breakfast" Eita replied calmly, although he was still thinking about what happened yesterday.
Breakfast passed peacefully, they washed the dishes and left the house together, after closing the door Eita turned around and was greeted by Chiwa's face who gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
Because Chiwa is much shorter than him she had to jump to give his the kiss causing it to last no more than a second, the moment they separated Chiwa buried herself in Eita's chest hugging him tightly.
Stunned by the kiss Eita looked at Chiwa who was hugging him and said "Chiwa this-"
Interrupting Eita Chiwa spoke "I know, you are in a relationship with Masuzu so at school I won't do anything, but that doesn't mean I can't do anything, I will take every chance I get to get closer to you E-kun, in the end I will be the winner" Chiwa released from his embrace and smiled warmly at him, but in her gaze Eita could see a spark of obsession.
Eita decided to ignore these signs because even if Chiwa became yandere he would still love her, maybe he would love her more, leaving that aside the two walked towards the school while talking about their homework.
When they arrived they parted and Eita entered his classroom where he saw his beautiful girlfriend sitting at the back and despite this as soon as he crossed the door, she noticed him.
He greeted her with a happy smile to which she gave him a stiff smile back, he walked towards her and sat down next to her and started talking to her.
"Good morning sweetheart, how have you been?" Eita started talking to Masuzu normally and she in turn kept up with him. 'Looks like she already adapted to my approach' Eita thought as he saw how Masuzu kept the conversation natural.
When lunch time came Eita was ready to go with Masuzu to the rooftop, but before he could say it Masuzu beat him to it and pulled out a giant bento box and held his hand.
"Let's eat together Eita" Masuzu hugged Eita's arm and guided him towards the rooftop.
Eita was amazed that Masuzu will adapt so fast and start being so proactive, though it only made him happier.
"Since you prepared lunch yesterday to reward you today I prepared one for you~" With a melodious tone Masuzu unwrapped the bento causing a ray of light to burst out.
'Will this be one of those fancy high class bentos?' Eita couldn't help but think as he remembered that Masuzu was from a wealthy family as various types of food such as octopus, salmon, shrimp, etc flashed through his mind.
Opening it completely Eita could see that the bento was actually composed of rice, tamagoyaki and sausages very common food, but Eita could not help but smile when he saw several imperfections in the cuts making it clear that it was a homemade meal.
Looking at Masuzu's hands, Eita could see some bandages covering her fingers, Eita couldn't help but his heart filled with more warmth.
"Cough, I'm sorry if you were expecting something more professional, but at the moment I can only prepare this..." Masuzu commented, though her tone was lowering as a slight layer of blush covered her.
"No, this bento is perfect, thank you for the food Masuzu" Eita said sincerely and started eating with a happy smile.
Seeing him happily eating the food she prepared, Masuzu felt an indescribable happiness welling up inside her, she didn't know why it made her so happy to see him eating her food, but she convinced herself that it was because she was getting closer to her goal.
Although their peaceful lunch didn't last long due to an unexpected interruption, the rooftop door suddenly opened and Chiwa with a mysterious smile approached.
"Hi E-kun, I've been looking all over the school for you for lunch, but I couldn't find you so I figured you'd be at the place you usually use when you want quiet, I'm glad I guessed correctly" Chiwa still smiling explained her reason as she sat down on the other side of Eita.
"Chiwa what are you doing here?" asked Eita trying to stay calm, but waves of worry began to rise in his heart.
"I told you E-kun, I was looking for you for lunch" As if to prove it was true Chiwa revealed a bento box.
"Kuhum, Eita who is she?" asked Masuzu.
"Ah, of course I haven't introduced them yet, Masuzu this is Harusaki Chiwa my childhood friend, Chiwa this is Natsukawa Masuzu my current girlfriend" Eita made the introduction.
"Nice to meet you Harusaki-san, although Eita hadn't mentioned to me that he had such a close friend I hope we get along well" Masuzu greeted politely.
"I hope the same, after all as a friend and neighbor I consider E-kun as someone very important in my life" Chiwa also responded.
Even though they greeted each other properly and no problem could be seen in their words, Eita could swear he could see sparks clashing between them premeditating a battle that would be disastrous mainly for Eita.
*HAHH
Sighing Eita could only pray that his dream would not be ruined even before setting it in motion.
