Capítulo 22: Unexpected Encounters(1)
(18 minutes later)
Rodeo kept driving down the road, and had yet to exit the forest.
"How long does this road go?" He then looks at Amelia who was sleeping quite peacefully before putting his eyes back on the road.
Rodeo then saw the flashbacks appearing again that showed everything he had done and gone through from the helicopter crashing to killing the GOC soldiers until the flashbacks stopped. He was now breathing heavily again as he looked at his face in the left view mirror and saw it again covered in blood.
Rodeo then pulls on the brakes and stops the Humvee. Rodeo then looked at his own hands. Then suddenly he saw his hands covered in blood. Rodeo exits the vehicle and holds his head with both of his hands tightly.
"This is not real. You're just seeing things. It's not real." He said in anguish.
Amelia woke up and saw that they had stopped, she looked outside and saw Rodeo outside of the Humvee holding his head as if something was terrifying him.
"Rodeo?"
Rodeo then turns around and sees Amelia looking at him, "Hey! Amelia I was just trying to uhhh... you know, stretching my legs a little." He said, trying to lie his way out.
"Rodeo, if there is something bothering you just tell me."
Rodeo then sits on the driver's seat and closes the door, "I'm fine, Amelia. You don't have to ask."
Rodeo then puts the pedal on the gas and continues to drive down the road, while Amelia wanted to know what's going on with Rodeo but since Rodeo wasn't giving her answers she had to wait for now.

(12 minutes later)
Rodeo continued driving down the dirt road before he pulled the brakes and saw a concrete road at the end of the dirt road. No doubt this concrete road was a highway of some sort.
"Finally we can get out."
"Yeah. If we get on the main highway we might be able to get a signal through your phone and contact the foundation."
"Then let's go."
Rodeo slowly drives towards the end of the dirt road but then pulls on the brakes.
"Why are you stopping? The highway is right in front of us."
"Shoosh."
"What?"
"Shoosh... do you hear sirens coming from the left of the highway?"
Amelia then keeps quiet and listens. She didn't hear anything until she heard it.

"Yeah I can hear it."
Rodeo decides to turn off the engine and both keep quiet. The sirens got closer and louder, Rodeo looked to the left and spotted something tall walking towards their area.
Rodeo and Amelia were getting annoyed by the sirens until they saw the thing that was coming from the left side of the highway clearly and Amelia's eyes widened in horror while Rodeo, while his facial expression didn't change he was looking at the tall creature with horror as well.
The creature was 40 feet tall and it had long arms and legs with its entire body covered in a dark red flesh and had sirens with teeth in it. This was...

The Siren Head.

(A/n: Yes I know it's not an SCP but hey it's a monster and the world of SCPs is filled with monsters. )
The duo kept quiet and didn't say a word as they kept looking at the monstrosity walking along the highway. The duo knew all too well what this nightmare is capable of. Siren head then stopped. The duo thought that the creature might have spotted them. Rodeo and Amelia readied their weapons in case if Siren Head attacks. But it just stood there motionless, not moving at all. Then it continued walking down the highway making siren sounds until it was no longer on their sight.
"Oh... my God."
Amelia wipes the sweat off her forehead and says, "SCP-6789. Here? I thought it was contained." She was still horrified after what she saw.
"Wait! You gave that thing a number?"
"Yes, we did, but to see it with my own eyes and that too out of containment. I'm not sure whether I should be surprised by seeing it or scared by its looks.
"Best not to think about it." Rodeo then starts the engine and makes a left turn and drives down the highway. Everything was ok until...
*WIIIII—!*
The duo heard it and looked at their right and left view mirrors and saw the siren head was running towards them on all fours like a cheetah.
"OH SHIIIIIT!" Rodeo was about to call out SHA, but the siren head was already too close and was about to grab the Humvee with its arms, it was about to do its worst until....
"Muda!"
All of a sudden, Siren head was then sent flying a few feet away by an unknown figure's punch who just appeared out of nowhere right in front of it. Rodeo pulled on the brakes and the duo got out of the Humvee and saw the figure who saved them.
He was golden in color and was muscular and had a green heart on his chin and other areas of its body. He was floating in the air with a golden aura surrounding his body. Amelia was looking interested in interest wanting to know who this was, while Rodeo was in shock and surprise because he knew who this figure was all too Damn well. Behold...

The World turns around and looks at the duo, "So you're the one I'm being drawn to. Seems like I'm not the only one who has become a Stand." He said with a menacing glare.
Amelia found him intimidating, while Rodeo wanted to know whether he was a friend or foe.
Rodeo then asks, "Who are you?"
Before The World could say anything, he heard the siren sounds again, he turned around and saw Siren Head getting up and then started approaching him... MENACINGLY.
The World lands on the ground and says, "Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of walking away, you're coming right at me? Like an impatient predator who wants to pounce on its prey immediately so hard because it's too hungry and doesn't consider timing, precision and strategy. And yet you approach me?"
"*Siren sounds*."
(Translation: Well I can't rip and tear the shit out of you without getting closer.)
"I have no idea what that thing said." Rodeo said
"Me neither."
But The World somehow understood what the Siren Head sayed and replied, "Oh ho! Then come as close as you like."
The World then starts approaching the Siren Head. Both of them were approaching each other in true Jojo fashion. They kept getting closer and closer to each other until Siren Head quickly tried to punch him with his right fist, but The World was quick and dodged the punch only for its fist to hit the ground creating a small crater.
In response, The World punches his arm hard creating a wind gust, breaking it in the process, letting the creature screech in pain.
"Too slow, too slow! The World is the ultimate STAND. You cannot compete with me!"
Siren Head readjust his right arm and fixes it. Siren head knew this was not normal human prey that he normally comes across. This humanoid in front of him was something else.
"Rodeo, he said STAND. Is he a STAND like you?" Amelia asked.
"Yes, but this STAND is deadly because of its power."
"What's his power?"
"The ability to stop time."
'Another Reality Bender?' Amelia's eyes widened and were dumbfounded. Someone with the ability to stop time can be a dangerous and powerful entity, although the world of SCP's has its own fair share of anomalous power users... These STANDS were something else entirely.
"How long can it stop time?"
"I've seen the anime, so my best guess is 9 seconds, but he could increase the numbers the stronger he gets."
"I see, so is 9 seconds enough for him?"
"Oh it's enough alright."
Back with the World, the Siren Head was looking at him with killing intent in his veins.
"I can sense that you wish to kill me, but do you know what I'm truly capable of? What can I even do?
The siren head then tried to stomp him with his foot but then the World shouted.
"Za Warudo! Toki Wo Tomare!"
By his words, the entire world suddenly came to a halt, Siren Head ceased its movement, every noise from nature to Siren Head's roar became silent, the wind stopped it's blowing and the grass no longer swayed. The sky and the Earth turned an eerie matte grey, even Rodeo and Amelia were consumed by grey. Only The World was free from the grey filter as everything was frozen in place, or should I say time has stopped.
