"The helicopters are tracking us!" Airon replied briefly, watching as the cars maneuvered through dozens of walkers, turning left to avoid the horde of walkers that was entering the forest and invading their open path.
The characteristic sound of the helicopters' rotor blades gradually grew louder, and the rest knew that the helicopters were tracking them.
They couldn't call for aerial support as they had poor signal, so they slowly moved away, but the helicopters were also advancing.

Just as the car sped out of the forest, a beam of glaring spotlights illuminated the helicopter, enveloping the Humvee in the center.
Airon cursed, throwing several incendiary grenades on both sides of the forest to attract attention, and told everyone to speed up.
"Daryl, contact base, we need air support! Ask the air force to send a military drone, anything for fuck's sake."

The headlights of the Humvee turned on long after it rushed onto the road. After clearly seeing the road conditions, both Humvees accelerated again, and the speedometer gradually approached 180 kilometers per hour.
The helicopter in the sky fiercely chased them, and the sound of gunfire was relentless. At first, these people seemed to want to force the car to stop, so most of the bullets fell on the front roof. The accelerator had been pressed to the floor, but obviously, it was impossible to overtake the helicopter with a car. Military helicopters could reach speeds of over 300 kilometers per hour, and the Humvees they were traveling in couldn't run that fast.
Now, at a very critical moment, Airon was constantly thinking of a solution in his mind.
At this moment, he noticed that the angle of the light in front of him was constantly decreasing, and it only took a few breaths to fall to a height of just a dozen meters above the ground.
Meanwhile, George, who was in front, already had his next moves planned. He frantically applied the brakes, and the car's speed rapidly decreased. Then he turned the steering wheel, and the car's body jumped to the other side of the road, then turned again in another direction.
The Humvee completed a beautiful turn on the not-so-wide road and then came to a stop in its place. On the other hand, Gild was an incredible driver who could follow George's steps almost seamlessly.
Finally, getting rid of the dazzling spotlights in the sky, Airon could finally see the situation on one side. Perhaps it was the never-ending road. The forest here has become very sparse, and the distance between the trees is large enough for vehicles to pass through.

The engine roared once more as the duo of vehicles ventured into the forest.
The people in the helicopter saw that the target had been lost again, but they were not in a hurry. They turned off the lights again, and one of the men took out an infrared device and began indicating to the pilot to continue the pursuit.
At the same time, he communicated loudly with his comrades. "Zz... These guys are not ordinary. They definitely have military training. The drivers are very calm."
The person beside him also squatted there, gripping the handrail tightly with one hand and holding a machine gun in the other, agreeing with him.
The figure of this person was not that of a strong figure. Looking at the slightly inflated chest of this person, it turned out to be a woman.
"Do you think they are abandoned soldiers?"

As they worked as a team, the rest of the group maintained constant vigilance, attentive to any signs of imminent danger. Everyone knew that time was crucial and they had to act with precision and speed to neutralize the threat of the helicopters.
Finally, with the missiles ready, Airon and Daryl looked at each other, conveying mutual confidence. They knew they were about to face a challenging battle, but they were also determined to protect their group and do whatever it took to survive.
With their gaze fixed on the approaching helicopters, Airon and Daryl prepared to fire the missile launchers, trusting that it would be their best chance to bring down their pursuers and ensure the safety of everyone. The forest soon filled with tension and determination as the fate of the group hung by a thread and action loomed ahead.
