Capítulo 69: The Girl

Selena's POV

I pretended I had fallen asleep right away, but I ended up sleeping like a baby, and a smile appeared on my face as I felt Skyler's warm body next to mine the following morning. I could feel the rise and fall of the beating of his heart. It was such an incredible sound that I didn't want to get up.

I could feel the butterflies in my stomach as I remembered what happened last night at the clearing. Kissing Skyler was terrific, and I almost lost control. I wanted more, but I wasn't ready yet, and I wished he wasn't disappointed with me.

I looked at his handsome face for a long time before slowly taking his hand away from my body so I could get up from his bed. I felt ashamed of myself that I didn't change into my pajamas or night dress since I didn't realize I dozed off quickly when I was only pretending to be asleep.
