Capítulo 23: Nightmares for eternity

"It's you," Hailey heard him mutter, and she almost fainted when she realized she was at the mercy of a potentially psychotic fanboy who most certainly happened to be a demon. No human can rip someone's arm off so effortlessly.

"So that old bat was withholding information," Ares muttered. He loosened his grip on Hayley's neck before saying, "You don't have to be so afraid..." His voice lowered, and a shiver ran down Hailey's spine as his hand went down her neck. "I won't hurt you."

Hailey's cheeks reddened at the sound of his voice; she couldn't help but think how sexy it sounded. 'He must be an incubus,' she thought. 'Ares,' she repeated in her head, wondering where she had heard the name before.

Ares removed his hand from her neck, and Hailey tried to move, thinking that this was her chance to kick the demon in the nuts and escape, but she found she couldn't move.
