That was it. That was all she needed to recognize that voice. That temperament but soothing voice.
That voice that always made her feel so safe and happy.
"That's enough darling."
There was the second voice. The second voice Diana wasted no time in recognizing. It was a bit hard to recognize the first voice, but not the second.
Diana gasped aloud,
"Mother! Father!" And yelled rushing into the tent. As soon as she got in, she nearly fell on her knees.
It was truly them. As she stared at them, her eyes couldn't help but slowly become wet.
"Mother!" Diana called again since she was mostly close to her mother, but got no reply instead.
"Take it easy darling. Things will get settled soon, and we'll be able to save those people. For now, we need to plan our way out of here and go back home. Our kids would be worriedly waiting for us. I miss my little angel, Diana."
That was when her tears fell down as she tightened her hands.
"Mom, I miss you too." She whispered.
