CHAPTER 39 – Break Her Control

With the recent events that had surrounded her life, Scarlet became sceptical about how she would move around. 

Ever since returning that night, she later found out what cruelty Azadel suffered because of her. 

That alone was a reminder of the extent her mother could go just to get her as well as an understanding of how easy it was for the guards to get her.

Blowing a puff of air out of her mouth, Scarlet leaned against the window frame accompanied by her thoughts. 

At the moment she could only wish to see one person. Just one and that was Zale. 

Left to her, should she get the chance to be with him, then everything would play out well and perhaps she would be able to earn his love. 

She sighed once more, her eyes rolling at the beautiful sky, so green with envy.
